I think it's more of Coinomize giving back to the community. It's holiday so what a way to end the year as we will be celebrating our 52th weeks here. Same here I haven't joined any contest, but for others who have talent, it's one way to show it here and then win some.

I think this has been discussed previously, but I'm unsure if this happens here or on another forum. I remember somebody answering that maintaining such a process is probably not worth the cost compared to encouraging users to double-check the ann thread or something similar. If people want to visit an onion link they'd probably check the ann thread or bookmark the previous link too. Let's say that's what I mean.
I saw that there is a long list of phishing sites, and it is impossible to prevent them. It would certainly be good to get some feedback from Coinomiza directly, even if it is statistical, regarding the other domains that are under their control.

Now, it may cost some dollars to fight phishing domains or scam activities, but i am still confidence that Coinomize biz has what it takes to render these domains of no effects and continue to run it's operations seemlesslly.

I also share the same view. Initially, when clicking on .co and .is domains, I was suspicious that they might be scam websites because they were different from the .biz domain that I was accustomed to using. I had to revisit this ANN to confirm, and even after that, I still used Coinomize.biz out of habit.

I think many other users have experienced similar confusion, but it's probably not too serious. A common approach many companies have taken to address this is to purchase multiple domain names like .co .uk .com .org and then redirect users to their main website.

We have done this to prevent or make it more difficult for the authorities to shut down the system.
From a marketing point of view it is not so good.

Our official domains are coinomize.biz, coinomize.is, coinomize.co.
BIZ is the main domain and gets the most traffic (also intended), the others also some but as I said these are only there for security but should also rank from a marketing point of view (If the main domain should be blocked for any reason.).

Phishing domains, we can shut down this domains 99% of the time within days if we find any.
We also actively search for them often, if someone has found one he can send it to us via PM.

Good to hear that Coinomize owns several domain names only in order to work properly even if some legal action is taken by authorities.

We all know that it's not easy to run a privacy service like a mixer and there can be action against it anytime with lame excuses.

It's amazing to know that Coinomize team knows how to get rid of phishing sites. Personally, I haven't seen any phishing site, but I guess one should prefer to find main domain of Coinomize or any other mixer from this forum, or by looking at it at Bitlist.co.

OK, a backup domain makes sense as a security one.
The twisted thing is that the strongest top-level domains .com, .net are taken up to resellers, so their value is also increased by developing the coinomize.biz brand.

I think I have reported a few, and although I see some phishing sites right now, they are not active though, but they are available, like this one:
