Does coinomize has any geo level restrictions?
While trying to visit the site I am getting this error!
Has anyone else encountered this?
Note that I am not using any kind of VPN or proxy.

You represent a competing mixer, and you're not allowed to spy.  :D

There have been similar situations before. From time to time, a certain region may be temporarily disabled due to security reasons. For prevention, ban a specific region where risky traffic comes from, which is a better solution than aggressively adjusting the firewall for all users.

Everything works for me without any problems.

Given that Coinomize is one (if not the only) of the few mixers that has several domains registered, I believe in reducing potential phishing scams by using this brand.
I would like to hear from the Coinomize team how much traffic is generated by other domains besides the basic .biz?

We have done this to prevent or make it more difficult for the authorities to shut down the system.
From a marketing point of view it is not so good.

Our official domains are coinomize.biz, coinomize.is, coinomize.co.
BIZ is the main domain and gets the most traffic (also intended), the others also some but as I said these are only there for security but should also rank from a marketing point of view (If the main domain should be blocked for any reason.).

Phishing domains, we can shut down this domains 99% of the time within days if we find any.
We also actively search for them often, if someone has found one he can send it to us via PM.

I think I have reported a few, and although I see some phishing sites right now, they are not active though, but they are available, like this one:

Code: [Select]
coinömize.biz
(xn--coinmize-q4a.biz)

Thank you  8) You can only take domains off the net if they have content.

Does coinomize has any geo level restrictions?

No, we don't have a geo block or anything like that.
The fact that you have been blocked can be due to many things, it is not possible to say this quickly.
You can write to us if the problem persists or use our ONION domain.

Knock knock!  ;)

That might be the case! Maybe my ISP is blocking it or maybe coinomize disabled it, IDK...

Anyway, I found a solution. I can access the site using a VPN, (the onion is also fine).

If you have a dynamic IP address, it's possible that someone before you lost things from the same IP address and that it's blacklisted because of it. The problem with access can also be with other services, and websites, not only Coinomize.
For example, you can check if this is the case by restarting your modems and routers to get a new IP from the ISP. (Perhaps only a restart will not be enough, but you will be disconnected for a long few hours period)

TBH, I absolutely have no idea what kind of IP address I have! One thing I know for sure is, it's not a real IP, maybe shared I guess (because I used torrent once, and that's how I knew). Anyway, I live in a rural area, so getting a WIFI connection here means getting a jackpot, or wining Bitcoins! I'm just grateful that I have one! I think I might have to call my ISP to get my IP changed and get a fresh one with real IP..

Yeah, it sometimes difficult getting a good Internet connections in the rural areas, i have experienced this difficulties in my region. I recommend a mobile network booster to enhance your networks and internet connections over there, and if installed, it wouldn't just be like winning a jackpot only, but you may also get the best mixing services from Coinomize biz platform, the leading mixer and most reliable on the crypto space.

Or why not request for a static IP address from your provider? So instead of a dynamic IP address that could be dirty or that range could be treated as harmful or suspicious, why not a dedicated one for you?

Your ISP provider though might charge extra for this kind of services though.

But in my case I have done this before when I was doing free lancing years ago, just a dedicated IP address for me so that when I upload my finished product to my clients, I will not have problems connecting to their network.

As @DYING_S0UL replied, he doesn't have much knowledge about IP and doesn't know what the problem is when he uses Coinomize. I've never encountered this issue even though I sometimes use a VPN to access Coinomize. I hope that members who are good at internet technology will have helpful guidance for @DYING_S0UL.

The Coinomize team could also investigate to support @DYING_S0UL and future users if they also encounter similar problems when using Coinomize.

This costs extra, so it is justified only if it is necessary for more services, especially self-hosted. Also, it does not have to be a solution to the problem, because the whole class can be blocked by that provider, not just one IP address.

I already said earlier, in such cases, you would have to restart the modem or the device used to connect to the ISP. It is very likely that after the restart it will get a new IP address. If it is a question of sharing connections, then there is not much that can be done because the ban probably came because of one of the users from the network. Even with a new IP, the same thing will happen very quickly.

If he is really determined to understand the problem, he can privately share his IP address with the Coinomize team, so that they can identify the problem together.

@DYING_S0UL It's enough to write in Chrome "What's my IP" to get this info.

Because I never felt the need for that! All I require is a good stable internet connection. That's why I never bothered to look into the details!

Anyway, I have talked with my ISP and they said it was a shared one. They can set up a new package for me with a real/fresh/new/dedicated IP the next month, but it'll cost extra!

Thanks everyone for the heads up. I don't think I will be sharing any info to anybody. Honesty I am not bothered by this. Not just with coinomize but I have seen many legit valid sites blocked from my region. I guess it might be a govt policy or something.

I would rather use TOR or a VPN if needed!  ;)

Thanks everyone for the heads up. I don't think I will be sharing any info to anybody. Honesty I am not bothered by this. Not just with coinomize but I have seen many legit valid sites blocked from my region. I guess it might be a govt policy or something.

I would rather use TOR or a VPN if needed!  ;)

Thank you too, and despite the internet network challenges you have been experiencing over there, it is also good to hear that you are familiar with Coinomize biz platform and it's great features. I think some day this challenge could be a thing of the past whether government policy or not, and you can always mixe your coin any day.

Anyway, I have talked with my ISP and they said it was a shared one. They can set up a new package for me with a real/fresh/new/dedicated IP the next month, but it'll cost extra!
Can they guarantee that their dedicated IP won't get blacklisted by any service, including but not limited to Coinomize or other services that you regularly use? How much is the difference between the two services? I believe you can get a dedicated IP VPN too, so if you're interested in getting that it's worth looking further. Anyway, if you can access ToR with no issues there is no urgency to get a new ISP IMO. CMIIW.
