Is coinomize the biggest mixer by volume?
I always wonder how much coins are mixed by each mixer, as it is not so simple to determine such statistic

i don’t think there is almost no way for us to gain even a smidge of an idea because users of mixers are literally seeking anonymity and to conduct a survey would be the opposite of anonymity

one thing for sure though is that coinomize has one of the best reputation among the community and is often the one mentioned when asked about best crypto mixers for those asking which one to use so that must mean something in terms of how many people must use coinomize to mix their coins

Very true, none of the mixers will publicly share the data that how many users are using their mixing service as that's something totally again anonymity and privacy. I believe not only Coinomize.biz but any other mixer even doesn't keeps logs of such users for long time because of privacy reasons.

Most mixers claim that but from some cases of mixer takedowns, we know some of them do keep logs. At the end of the day, it's impossible to verify that and we should avoid using a mixer if they say they keep logs openly IMO. This is one of the reasons why I don't like to try new services when they have no history or questionable explanation of how they work.

Yeah, based on anonymous concerns, users cannot determine the biggest mixer by volume or through any statisticsl data because Volume/statistics are on chain analysis.
I think i will rather use economic factors analysis to determine the criteria for the biggest mixers. My points includes,

biggest doesnt mean best automatically the points you have given are what i would consider the criteria for what i think a good mixer would be some people may prefer a specific mixer even if it is not the most popular and not have the biggest volume of users

I agree, many mixers are like that. They are not transparent but they play transparency and says that they don't keep logs but you'll just find it out when they're seized that there have been logs that has been kept. And that's why the ones that have stayed for so long are the reputable ones and trusted by the community, I also refrain trying the new services but I'll check them out once they have built reputation.

I have experienced many mixers but I am not sure if they are really different, they may all be using a common service and only differ in fees, time and website interface. If they are exactly the same, a flexible and reputable service like Coinomize would still be worth choosing and trusting!

I don't think that any reputed mixer claim to keep logs and even if they does it then they might hide that from the users rather than openly telling them that they keep logs. Surely, most mixers do keep logs in case of mixing errors but for a limited time.

I also agree that in past the mixers that were reputed got shutdown and they really saved the logs of the users. But, I still believe that current reputed mixers we have don't really keep such logs and are safe to be used for mixing purpose.

Besides the fee, there are differences in how coins are mixed, which is very important. Some mixers used the Coinjoin technique with the Samurai wallet, however, after Samurai was shut down, some mixers were also shut down.

Yes, I agree with you, Coinomize has been on the forum since the beginning of mixer's promotion that moved from Bitcointalk to here and it has been doing quite well since then.
