You're wrong if you think Barcelona perform consistently this season. They were ever leading the table but Real Madrid overtook their position. Then Real Madrid performed worse, Barcelona returned to the first place. If they performed consistently, Real Madrid will never overtake Barcelona position.

I'm sure in 2 months from now, we are going to see big difference in the table, it can Barcelona, Atletico or Real Madrid that will be at the top unless we start seeing some early strange signs of defeat from each teams.

This Sunday’s Atlético vs Barça clash could be a game-changer and decide the entire La Liga title race.
This is going to be the most challenging game of the season in La Liga for both teams, the Atletico Madrid players will go all out plus aggressive defending, and their fans will make the stadium a battlefield but they are already tired mentally and physically after against Madrid in the quarterfinals UCL. La Liga will be gone if Atletico lost. IMO
