When I saw the title of this thread, I was somehow excited that I would definitely learn anything. Although the thread actually made some sense and contained quality but it did not meet my expectation. I was expecting an article that a government will finish reading and make gambling compulsory for all her citizens. Maybe my expectation was too high and start his wife it was not met.

The issue of sports betting making one to know different countries of the world is truth. But personally it made me to only know the European countries as I hardly follow or watch the clubs in other continents in my own continent Africa.

Gambling helps to relieve people's loneliness and for those who live a lonely life, gambling can definitely be a great tool to pass the time.

If gambling gives the best impression for those who want to spend it, it can be said for me too because for me spending that time is suitable for experimenting with college assignments and real work in gardens and rice fields or raising fish in ponds.
I live with parents who farm, garden and raise fish and goats all the time, so spending time on gambling doesn't seem to me to be effective.

No matter how beautiful this article would have been, it would still not be proper for the government to make gambling compulsory. If the government makes gambling compulsory will the government provide money for the citizens to use in gambling? If it is compulsory don`t you think it is injustice for those who have little finance and are managing? Don`t you think making gambling compulsory might lead most people without control to gambling-related crime?

Making gambling compulsory would violate the principle of personal autonomy. Forcing someone to engage in gambling activities against their wish will infringe upon their agency.

When we consider that gambling also has negative consequences like addiction and financial ruin, compelling individuals to engage in gambling activities would expose them to these risks without their consent potentially exacerbating harm and causing significant distress.

The positive side of gambling may be gathering together with everyone, old friends or neighbors.
For example, old friends who have gone abroad and returned to their hometown meet again and play cards to gamble.
For example, there are 10 old friends who are present and all of them are gambling by playing cards, maybe they are chatting with each other while telling stories about their time abroad, their work or careers in life abroad.

But it would be nice to get together and play cards without needing to use money to gamble, just play cards without needing to use money, maybe that would be better.

For me the positive side is just the fun of playing and I don't see any other positive side than that. Because there are more negative sides, that's what makes most people consider gambling as a negative thing.

I won't look at that, because basically I know what risks I will get when I gamble. But I only see it as the fun I will get when playing.

I don't know what other people think about this, because I'm sure many people also have different views.

What about being quick at calculating when you play blackjack? What about training memory and memorizing played cards when you play blackjack. What about skill to read people and emotions, as well as planning when you play poker. Arent these skills be considered as positive? What about new friends and valuable connections you can make while gambling? You never know who you can meet during gambling. Arent all these benefits for you ?

As far as I'm concerned,gambling and it addiction depend on it users,there are people who gamble,but do not abuse it,When we abuse gamble,we do different things that we aren't supposed to do all in the name of gambling,like take loan because of gamble,or selling your important valuables and properties all in the name of gamble,this happens when we do not reason well,and we allow our emotions control us.
