I think Litecoin has been in a spiral for some time now, precisely since Charlie Lee sold all his coins. Since that time (although I haven't looked for information about Litecoin in a while) there has been no news or updates.

It's a shame that Charlie Lee sold all his Litecoin, even though he is the CEO of a famous coin, Litecoin. I don't know what was on Charlie Lee's mind, but if I were Charlie Lee and created Litecoin, maybe I would continue to develop Litecoin and continue my career in cryptocurrency because I prefer something digital like cryptocurrency.

Litecoin is still alive because it is an "old" currency with several use cases, and also because it is used for different businesses, so it rises and falls depending on the market, but it does not stand out above other projects on its own merits or by new developments. After these years I believe that Litecoin “will always be there”, but it will not have the recognition it once had.

I understand what you mean and I also think that Litecoin is my guess from the beginning is a coin that has been circulating in the market for a long time and is in the top 50 coinmarketcap. As far as I know, reaching 50 Coinmarketcap is very difficult because it requires a lot of money in circulation and Litecoin has proven that since 2013 until now it is still surviving.

If it used to be in the top 3 on Coinmarketcap, it might be because Litecoin was created when Bitcoin was starting to be known in 2013 and Charlie Lee took the initiative to create Litecoin.

There are so many more options for people ever since Charlie sold his coins and ERC tokens became a thing.

This seems like the beginning of the downfall of Litecoin, Damnnn.

Question is will it gain more favour in the future?

I can't predict this but I just assume that Litecoin will likely continue to be stable following its marketcap from Bitcoin or keeping its distance and not dropping from the Coinmarketcap ranking of 50.

Well the appealing things about Litecoin for me is that it was the first fork of Bitcoin so it has the limited supply and decentralisation elements.

I just assumed it was common knowledge...it isnt a hard fork or soft fork though. According to Wikipedia it is a source code fork.

It's like history, Litecoin, an old coin, which used to compete with Ethereum in the top market cap. But in the end, the strong survive, and those who do not provide progress and development according to their time and era, will drop. It is still very lucky if LTC is still on the market. because its development is really not visible. But fortunately for now, LTC's position has risen enough and entered the top 23, yes even though this is still quite low, but at least, there is an increase in the price and also the market cap of LTC, this might be a good sign but, is it possible for Litecoin to return to the top 10 at least at the peak of the bullish altcoin season later?

Imagine Litecoin back in the top 10? it would be brilliant, being it back into the limelight but it will be a big struggle because as we know the Bull Market affects nearly all top coins.

My personal experience for Litecoin is that it is used for payments only. There are no other features from Litecoin. Maybe it can also be said that the transaction fee is cheap and anti-outage on the network.
I have seen in various communities when they have gifts from Airdrop and then exchange the main coin from the airdrop to Litecoin. I saw them say that Litecoin is for the long term and is used for rewards to their communities in various Telegram groups.

We all know that LTC is also a coin with good potential right. But while others coin where Risijg tremendously LTC where still finding it difficult to keep up. few days back LTC experience a dip from $73.61 to around the price range of $57.71,  but that dip I think it as an opportunity to buy more if you are still holding LTC keep hodl because now is the best time to jump in recently it's price arround the price range of 65.05 so is still a good chance of entring. Because LTC have the potential to hit the price range of one hundred and something Dollar. I know there will be alot of fomo already.

LTC has been referred to as Silver coin being amongst the top 3 in the early stage of the crypto currency. Since there wasn't a competitive development from the LTC team, and the network wasn't bringing up new ideas or projects that can work on the LTC network. New coins filled it's slot, pushing it down the ranking line.

In terms of potentials, LTC has good potentials to it's traders and holders. Though it is not so hot, but it's price is quite interesting as it can give up to x2 - x3 increase in bull run the market will experience.
