Why are ICO periods long?

I usually do not participate in ICO projects where the company goes for a long time or it is prolonged. As practice shows, such projects are not very promising.

Yes, I believe there are ICO's having a very long campaign period mainly because of limited time, ICO cannot met the target token sale within the given timeline. In the bounty hunter's side, I believe that a bounty hunter should extend his patience in situation like this where some have extended for almost ten months having 2 phase of the campaign period. In my opinion, no matter how long will it take for as long as you will be paid right after the campaign, that's fine with me.

I think the ico last for a long period of time because the longer the program lasts, the more investors they can get. When talking about the rewards, I think it also depends on the ico if they give more rewards when their ico last long.

Normally if an ICO period is long most probably is the fact that they cant reach their soft cap or they want to reach their hard cap fully.It might also be ICO want to let more people know of this ICO so they set a long period.

REDCAB is also a project like UBER that has reached hardcap but the project is still being continued because the Ethereum value is down.

I think maybe ICOs project developers need more time for introduction their product and marketing. This is adjusted to the roadmap they have planned so that they marketed the product has value and can last a long time on the market. Basically returned to the capital they need. If a hard cap is reached in a short time, the ICO period will be faster at the token sales stage.

It is because Market is down and icos cannot reach soft caps. There are too many icos suspend deadlines too. Only a few projects have reached hard caps last months.
