I give karma to the people who work hard for the forum like PX-Z and bitmover and many others that I won't mention so as not to make this post become kilometric
they have created super useful services that expand the use of the forum and allow you to enjoy it correctly and perfectly, they deserve it and so I'll give it to them regardless
I don't care if it's fair use or not

what I don't use is -karma, I'm not interested in punishing anyone

+karma is good to give for those who are contributing and also supporting the forum and making the forum more active. And as just as you said, I also give karma to those. I am also using the tools or the services of bitmover and PX-Z notifications.

And I think before the end of the year, many things will be put to order.

Yes, I agree with you, the ones who are active members of the forum and who are supporting this forum with their informative posts deserve to get +karma.

I know that some members who have contributed tools to the forum should also get +karma but those who also continue good and informative stuff may also get +karma.

In my case I often send +karma to members when I see their posts good and informative and sometimes I send +karma to members who have contributed good stuff to the forum.

I gave today a negative karma to a user who quoted the entire giveaway twice lol

I saw that too in the raffle threads lol. Also, a user that posts with red huge text which happens to be annoying but with all i said said earlier so i just leave it and didn't give -ve karma.

This could be good use of the karma system which merits in the other forum cannot take care of. If you see a chronic spammer, it will cost nothing to give a negative karma. But I know this situation doesn't occur often. I have given +ve karma wey more than -ve karma, maybe 97% to 3%.

If there is a reward and no respective punishment, the system will be imbalanced. I also do not glory in giving -1 but some situations demand that.

These users caught my atrention - I noticed that despite them making the top of the list of most karma earners they still have 0 karma in their account and I’m kinda confused as to how that happened.

Did anything happened that led to the deduction of their karma? Or is it a bug?

I was wondering what really happened that they don't have total karma acquired so far. And I was thinking it is because the summation karma is the same with the earned Karma but was still confused until I see this here. That is bad for them.

Yes nuked and looks like they had their karma issuance revoked a week or so ago, or stopped giving each other karma based on the logs (the latter I find less likely though).

Still not going to happen though, it would just lead to more retaliatory negative karma distribution. They were all clocked by admin about a week ago for reference sake.

Also as a warning to anyone thinking of giving negative karma to these users after they have been punished, that could be considered karma abuse.

There used to be a Karma Abuser group which identified users who have had their karma issuance revoked but it doesn't exist anymore.

Not sure if this was due to technical reasons or because they ended up getting abused with negative karma by others over it.

Edit: Turns out it was hidden to avoid the stigma after all.

When we look realistically, every good poster should get at least +1 karma every day if he is active every day - I obviously managed to achieve that goal last month, which is not easy at all. As we can see, some others played a little with karma points and got the karma they deserved.

Hmm, I was puzzled when I saw that these members earned that much Karma, yet their total karma is zero. The only thing that came to my mind is that they abused the karma system with multiple accounts. They were already punished for the abuse, but I am wondering if they are alternative accounts.

As we all know, the forum does not allow the operation of multiple accounts without declaration. If someone has a multiple account, they have to declare it, and the admin will issue a duplicate tag so that campaign managers can know that before they accept participants.

They weren't tagged as multi-accounts as there was no IP track, so it's safe to assume they are not multi-accounts, otherwise they would have been tagged as such.

Of all the things admin is very soft on, duplicate accounts is not one of them.
