  Now Bitcoin is hitting $70k again here Ethereum (ETH) is down to $2,500.

Not only that, Bitcoin is currently at $72704 but Ethereum is at $2655. I can't understand anything right now by looking at the position of ethereum.

But when it comes to market cap, there is no doubt that ETH is still the target and the top altcoin. People's trust in Ethereum is like Bitcoin, so far, even though Solana or BNB may be considered as good and growing altcoins, they still can't replace ETH's position, because ETH is a much older coin and its trust is based on a fairly high value, so it will be quite difficult to surpass.
