I read something that a president can only make prisoner's sentence shorter but cannot totally void the decision, so he cannot "free" Ulbricht in cell, but if the former is what he mean then he is lying, well, every country has different approach to this so...

But, is there any candidate besides biden and trump to run as president, i knew biden reach his senior age (retirement age) is he still can run as president?

He can free almost anyone guilty of a federal offense, there is no limit unless he chooses to pardon himself or try to pardon someone still under trial, the only one that can restrain that is Congress but this has never happened so basically in theory his powers are absolute, he pardoned Davidson who was under life imprisonment for drug trafficking and murder of an officer, so Ross is nothing.

He does everything to win and there is no doubt about it - just regardless of who wins those elections, I believe that the US will not have a president to be proud of. Obviously, it has already become a tradition for people with whom something is wrong (in every sense of the word) to be appointed to that position.

I'm looking at the positive thing, Trump was supposed to bring ww3 and destroy the US economy, Biden was supposed to bring ww3 and destroy the US economy, Bush, Obama, Nixon....the same. Yet despite that, no ww3 no destruction, the US president despite it's power is still not on the same level of absolute power of decision as a dictator.

That REALLY doesn't make sense, but I guess criminal likes a criminal. I know that a lot of liberteratian people will love to see Ross freed, because "he just provided a market" but remember his place was not just some online weed dealing place, his place had the worst kind of criminals as well, it wasn't just small timers, we are talking about pay to kill type of people as well, some of whom he contacted himself. So there isn't really any reason why he should be freed, I get that bitcoin world could like him for the pioneering bitcoin but that doesn't mean that he did anything legal, dude is proven to be guilty, so there isn't really any reason to let him go.

Oh okay, so what he said is can be done. The question is if will he actually do it? Well, checking his pledges here^[1], looks like he did what he can actually do, except for those who needs lot of work to be done.

I don't think that this man really means what he says, so even though there are chances that he will fulfill his promise, it is also possible that it won't happen, and he will find an explanation why he couldn't do it.

I would not agree with the fact that Trump is in the category of dogs that bark and do not bite. He is one of those who barks very loudly, and knows how to bite - just remember how he directed his sympathizers to attack and occupy the Capitol, and that the blood of innocent people was spilled there. This is not something that anyone can do, and it should not be ruled out that something like this will not happen again if he is not elected president.

While i shared this news, personally i think such thing is unlikely to happen. But today i see so many news media which roughly state Trump found guilty on all 34 charges. So if he ended up jailed due to those charges, his promise no longer matter anyway.

Someone else would probably end up in prison, or in the best case, his political career would end - but here we are talking about a man who is a candidate for the presidency of the US with a great chance of winning. Those who are with him do not mind such verdict in the least, because the only truth they respect is the one that comes out of his mouth.

In the end, I can agree with him regarding the statement he made after leaving the court, and he says that the only real verdict will be the one on November 5, which means that nothing else is important for him and his supporters.

Trump's statements are just election promises aimed at a specific niche: cryptocurrency users. While he was president, Trump had plenty of time to pardon Ross Ulbricht, if he didn't do it during that period of time it was because he didn't want to do it, I think it's that simple. But as we already know, there will soon be new elections for the presidency and Trump will have to look for all the possible votes. In any case, and taking into account the news of the last few hours, I think that now Trump will be more busy with his defense than with the elections.

I just checked the website you provided, it's totally new to me, and to be very honest, I was not aware of the full story, I did not know the owner of the site is still in prison and facing a life sentence right now. BTW I think Trump is making the right moves but these moves seem to be so rushing and dying for a win. I mean for a supporter of Ross, this move would be like a good one.

But for not a supporter, they will say he is so desperate to take all the votes of all the crypto users, I mean he is even targeting smaller niches like category to category, first it was NFTs, and BTC, and now he is targeting the followers of influencers as well. As I aforementioned don't know the full story of why he is facing that long punishment, so I won't judge but I will say the punishment should be reduced as he is just an entrepreneur.
