And Germany, as what we expected.

The two goal win for Germany did not come so easily because they had to fight and really struggle for it, Denmark was not an easy team for them to play.

There were many correct calls in the game from the officials that got two goals cancelled , one early goal from Germany,  and Denmark's goal that then led to the penalty that Germany got after the hand ball.

Havertz converted the penalty brilliantly, although he missed a couple of good opportunities to score more goals later in the game. Musiala doubled for Germany to secure their lead, and qualification to the next round.

This German team can actually win this competition.

The match was full of drama. The officiation from the field referee to the VAR referees. Changing a potential goal for Denmark to a PK to Germany. They were all dramatic but in the end I was happy that Germany succeeded and also Musiala was an instrumental for such success. The young boy has been giving his best in the Euro and I wish he could win the overall Best player in the Euro 2024. Such a young and raw talent.

It's a tough match.
Denmark got a goal in the 50th minute. However, with VAR, Denmark's goal was ruled out.

And Germany got a penalty kick in the 52nd minute, after VAR review. So, Kai Havertz did it well, with full confidence and scored from the penalty. And it was complemented by Musiala's successful kick which became Germany's second goal.

Switzerland Vs. Italy - Italy is a slight favourite, but I think a draw is the most likely outcome. Probably a goalless one, or a 1-1.
Both teams have solid defence, with 0.571 goals lost on average in a game played (for 2024). Italy has better winning rate, but Switzerland haven't lost any game in 2024.
Penalties are very much expected. And, as penalties are a lottery, any of them can win it.

Very poor performance from Italy in first half, and they didnt show anything special during all EURO competition.
Italy is special for scoring goals and getting results even when they play bad but I think they are getting home this time.

Yes the match is over Italy will soon go home there is nothing to ask anymore because seeing Italy's performance is very bad, I'm not sure Italy is like this but in reality seeing how Italy has performed badly throughout the Euro now.

I feel disappointed with Italy even though I have bet on it, the chances of winning are higher than Switzerland in reality Switzerland is better.

It's surprising to see how the former reigning Champions of the Euro were knocked out by Switzerland in the quarter-finals of the Euro.

I never saw this coming that Italy would be humiliated by a 2-0 defeat that had them performing poorly like they were an immature team while they were once reigning Champions of the Euro.

This is so heartbreaking for the people of Italy to see their country displaying a poor performance after much anticipation of them reaching the finals.

For today we will look at the matches England vs Slovakia and Spain vs Georgia. I'm not sure about the England vs Slovakia match because we know England is not as good as imagined. But for the Spain vs Georgia match, it is very clear that Spain is the favorite in that match.

I was actually looking for that post of yours to call you out, because you saw it coming all along, I don't know if you do gamble ? maybe  you could have had some money on the line for that match. Italy were completely outplayed and outclassed by Switzerland. Switzerland played with an extremely high level of confidence, their movement on and off the ball last night was definitely one of the best I've seen in this tournament, they turned the underdog tag the other round.

They deserved this win, they played better than Italy and they managed to win with a score of 2-0. They created a lot of opportunities and 2 of them were successful in converting them into goals.

This result means that Italy has to pick up its suitcase more quickly in the round of 16. Indeed, Italy was less consistent at EURO this time so they had to be satisfied with only being able to break into the top 16, after that they had to fall.

Had Denmark gone 1-0 up first, the course of the match might have changed completely but Offside is offside. It doesn't matter even if it's only 1 cm, under the rules it's offside and I think the penalty was also the right decision.
With technology, there is no margin of error and Michael Oliver just applied the rules given to him.

The match between England and Slovakia is currently ongoing and so far it has been really interesting but I'm very surprised to see that the England team is not consistent as they are on the previous seasons actually I don't really no why they seem to have been performing poor on this season even with the kind of quality players they have.

England is through and will face Switzerland in the quarter-final, but this was not a great performance by Southgate's team.
They lacked focus and their defence was far from perfect. They allowed Slovakia for too much.
I don't think they would manage to come back if Strelec used that gift from English defenders and hit the target (he wasn't far off).

England have never won easily during this EURO tournament, they always find it difficult to face any opponent, even though we know their squad is very capable with several star players gathered in the squad, but for some reason they still have difficulty scoring goals or playing to win comfortably.

Facing Switzerland will be much more difficult, we hope that England can qualify again for the next round, but there is still a little doubt, although here I support England over Switzerland.
