Perhaps, it's time for Man United to look inward into league and lower tier leagues like the Championship or even England League One to get some decent defenders that will be actually be worth the value for every penny they'll be spending as they've not made an impact defender signing in years despite splashing multi millions on those players who end up not being able to adapt to to the league, look at the likes Lindelof, Bailly and Lisandro Martinez, and where the club currently is with their contract.

Man United needs some players to improve their squad. They have no strong striker, the new striker should be better than Hojlund. I actually don't understand why Man United chooses Zirkzee, I think Hojlund is still better. Maybe Man United plans Zirkzee as the substituted player only. Man United defense is the worst line, they must change some defenders. But it looks like Man United still doesn't start to sell their current defenders. I doubt if Man United will have a chance in defense line. If there is no significant change in the defense and attacking line, I doubt if Man united will perform better in the new season.
