Aqua is somewhat custodial LN wallet.. I didn't create the channel.

Aqua wallet is not a custodial wallet, you sats are always backed by seed words, and all received LN assets are converted to Liquid assets automatically.
I think they are using LN technology from Breez, so there is no standard opening of channels, but other LN wallets can have something similar (Zeus for example).

Hey. I know you were asking bitmover, but I would love to be spending all my summers at a beach, laptop in hand. But my workload does not permit that sort of thing. Not to mention there are no beaches within many dozens of kilometers in this area  so I would have to travel out and live the nomadic life for that.

I was taking a really good look at MellowAds back in the day, but now that they only allow the top 100K websites by Alexa rank* to get inside and use their banners, the other options are not so attractive.

You've also got various CPA services on Blackhatworld and Bitcointalk and other websites, but those serve ads of the dubious character, sometimes even borderline scams.

Then you've got affiliate banners but then you'd actually have to make sure the user signs up and buys something so that's going to make less money too.

I see now that someone is trying to revive that domain and business.

Currently, similarweb is the closest alternative, but their results are pretty irrelevant almost like those provided by Alexa

MellowAds is dead too? Man, I had no idea. I last checked them out in 2022, so I guess the original owners just left it out to dry. I remember when every blog and faucet had either some CPA such as MellowAds or some smaller network. That must have all been swept away during the current price cycle (even though price has almost nothing to do with this, I use it as a rought sort of timeline of events).
