how do you learn without interaction. The introduction is not a KYC just to know if really the person is from Nigeria. And it is not by force for newbie to make an introduction but it is good we know him as a Nigerian. Lime this I don't know you but I know that you are Nigerian so there is no big deal. If someone wants to be anonymous in the forum, if is very much fine. Even as now, there are Nigeria that are in this forum which I don't know in the general public and there are some that I know but dey don't come here. And we don't crucify them. Even as now we are all anonymous except we have seen ourselves in real life. So introducing themselves is not a bad thing but only to know if dem come from real Nigeria.

It will be good that whoever is posting on our local board is known based on your country and that is why it is important for us to know the Nigerians posting here by newbies introducing themselves so that we go know say this na our own and not some random user. Nobody is saying visitors are not allowed to come and contribute of discussions here but let's be able to identify our own from visitors. However, if you will not be posting on this local board then there is no need to introduce yourself because I know that in the other forum some Nigerians only post on general boards and you will hardly know that they are Nigerians.

Well I do not see anything wrong in introducing oneself here if one wants to get along with the local board activities. What I just see there is some people will not be comfortable talking about themselves here when it has to do with saying where they come from and all that stuff. What I think is paramount is that as long as they identify with our local board and enteract with our local pidgin language, we can identify them as one of us besides this is anonymous platform where we operate with a pseudo identity  except for those who knows themselves outside of the platform.
I think we should try accommodate ourselves here on this platform irrespective of how we came here and our engagement. As long as we find ourselves on the same local board, we should be our brothers keeper.

E make sense say we all dey flow with each other here because na that one show say we dey strong together and nothing fit shake or fear us here. Like the saying says " one for all, all for one" this is the word of comradeship. No man is an Ireland neither is anyone here a man alone. The essence why we are here is to communicate, socialise and learn as well, then if we can't communicate or talk with each other here sharing of ideas at the local level, then it would be obvious that we are not cooperative and it would be a thing of every man on your own which we do not want here.  Wether anybody introduce themselves or not, the local board is open and free for communication. Make we help each other here so that our board go dey very much active and lively.

Same thing i think too, it’s not really compulsory to identify yourself here in the Local board but it can be beneficial and knowing your country men is a good thing too.

There are some members i see here that i am familiar with from the other forum local board and now no one needs to tell me they are Nigerians. It’s because they identified themselves as Nigerians and now we are familiar with each other. Some of them help me out when i was new to the Forum because it was easier to communicate with your country people.

I no see how introducing yourself for the first time wey you come this local board to post be bad thing because if you go new area wey you won take part of wetin dem dey do, you need to introduce yourself. For school, we dey tell people our name for tge first time when we enter class because na our class be dat. Talkmore of this big forum wey almost every country don know say Nigeria no get any local language wey we dey use pass English and pidgin. The pidgin self na only 35% of people dey use am. English na our major language and how we go come know say you be Nigeria when you know introduce yourself. However, everybody fit do wetin e like and if you no introduce yourself still no issue.
