Most of us is expecting him to fight either Benavidez or Bivol but i don't think he will heed to the request of the fans as he has his eyes on the easier fight rather than those difficult to win fights against Bivol or Benavidez.

Most of us is expecting him to fight either Benavidez or Bivol but i don't think he will heed to the request of the fans as he has his eyes on the easier fight rather than those difficult to win fights against Bivol or Benavidez.

We want him either to fight Bivol or Benavidez, but with HE Turki in the middle now, I don't know that Canelo can fight this two without going to the supposedly power broker. And as you can see, him and Crawford are sitting besides each other, and so I don't think that Turki is willing to negotiate with Canelo at this point, they have a feud already.

Edgar Berlanga is still young and i think he will recover from this loss easily and move forward to future big fights. Now that we can say that Berlanga could stand toe to toe with the big names in his division then i think promoters will offer him good fights in the future. He must use the Canelo defeat as a motivation that he couldn't be defeated easily if the preparation is right.

Yes, and if he is feed against the lions, he win but his performance is in question and that's why I believed that is one reason why Top Rank released him although we know that Bob Arum is a very careful promoter and he usually choose fighters that Berlanga can beat so that his name will somewhat pop.

You are correct, and if you observed when the final bell rings, Berlanga is all smile and hugging Canelo and might be thanking him for giving that opportunity to fight him. And for me, Berlanga is like a bigger version of Charlo.

And he could be just there to survived and claim his paycheck against the cash cow Canelo. As in the paper he wanted to go toe to toe, but in the fight, he is unwilling to go toe to toe specially once he tasted the canvass.

He can sure rest and then reset his career again with another fight next year.
