Should children be educated about Bitcoin?

If I had biological children, I would be more concerned about the stages of learning the world of finance including cryptocurrency for my children later... but it is also adjusted to their age. I can't rush to teach something that is beyond the child's ability, it will only add to his stress burden.

I have children, but I don't think I will introduce them to Bitcoin or any crypto before they are 14. It will depend on their brain and some other conditions. I have to see how quickly they can learn. If I see that their brain is good enough to learn new things, I won't mind introducing them to crypto a little earlier.

Giving them a basic idea of crypto and letting them start trade isn't the same thing. People should be involved in such things as trading and investing when they can make money and afford to lose money as well. The children do not make money at a young age, and there is no reason to start trading where they could lose money.

I also think that "miss the opportunity" are not the best words to use here. What kind of opportunity they really miss, if they cant fully use all benefits of crypto. Same as educating kids how to drive car and say they miss opportunity, when they can get license only at 18 years. Nevertheless, no matter if kids know or dont know about Bitcoin, they are still kids and in money related moments they are not interested as adults are. What, if they know about Bitcoin they would start investing or trading? Or will use option of anonymous payments? Sure not. Instead they would play toys and gadgets.

Actually, education about crypto is given to our children after understanding the risks of investing in crypto, I agree if they are 18 years old because if they are too young they cannot manage their emotions when there is a correction and the price is volatile. we can use the age according to the SIM permit of 18 years of our child's age.

I do agree, but it's up to debate whether it should be learned in institutions or not. However, with the current state of the crypto space, many people, especially younger ones, go into some projects and try to learn everything for themselves, sometimes leading to losses. So being taught the principles would be beneficial for them.

I agree with you, minors can't be roped in to explain something as complex as crypto currency. It is okay to teach them the general knowledge of crypto relations without putting pressure on them and without going against their will. However, it is important for them to be adults when it comes to trading. Because trading is a financial risky enterprise. If a minor comes into trading, he will not be able to control his emotions which may affect him negatively.

So without putting pressure on a minor give them only basic understanding of cryptocurrency investing and trading, and teach them about risk management, and after they become adults can start teaching them about trading.

Crypto is more like the future of banking system and one way to prove that is almost literally anything now online can be. Paid with a couple of popular crypto currencies out there including bitcoin. Now teaching kids about crypto is a nice idea as it's more like preparing them for the future ahead. It's nice for kids to be taught basic things about crypto as well as simple market economics and volatility. The idea is to give them a foundation knowledge and not to force them into something they may not like.

Kids that tend to develop more interest in crypto can then be given further tutoring on how the crypto space works however basic knowledge should be a general thing. Infact some school already given basic knowledge about crypto to kids.
