I agree with your reasoning that Bitcoin is known for its volatile nature then again we have ETF inflows which might be the reason for the price going back to where it was a few days back. I think there can be multiple reasons why the price fluctuates. It is not that easy to point only on the whales or volatility, the global situation currently can be responsible for the frequent price fluctuation of Bitcoin.

Yeah, I agree with you about that, the situation can be very complex but I also think that some "whales" aka. very public people like Elon Musk can do more damage to crypto or the reverse just by talking about it.

Yeah, long-term investors should have this kind of mindset and belief in order to continue to exist and profit from BTC future price increases. FUD is created to make the market RED and to make weak-hands sell their crypto assets in fear. However, FUD will also end, and that's the time for diamond-hands to earn profits worthy of their perseverance.

Whales manipulating the market has been going on for a long time in the crypto world and I think not only in the crypto market but almost all markets. They can make the price of bitcoin and altcoins drop but it is only temporary. Because the market response will not last long, if the whales and the money they use to play in the market are not large. The market will return to normal. We understand that what influences market prices is demand and supply.

Whales are manipulating the market because they are buying and selling and do not consist of a small amount of money so if they take advantage of the market then the market goes against our hopes but we should do the same thing as they are doing no matter we are using less or more amount but we have to think about our profit.

Every pump and dump are temporary but people think it as permanent and decide with emotions at the end of which they are blaming the market and the coins which is not a wise step. Whales control bitcoin, isnt ETF yet, but the whales control it very well, and they do whatever they wanna to do, the last days Futures were always dumping to SPOT ETF buy low... there werent bad news to make bitcoin break the way it had broken, this is the range 50k-70k. One thing is sure the higger bitcoin goes the bigger mooves it will make, for both directions, leverage isnt our friend at all.

I was having an argument with one of my friend that we might not see Bitcoin below $30k because that's the place whales like Blackrock bought there Bitcoin. They were buying and preparing the market for the upcoming ETF back then when BITCOIN ETF wasn't approved then and people think the price will come down, they are going to protect their investment at all cost.

Blackrock isn't the only key player of whales but I know for sure that since they provide ETF, there position on crypto can't be overlook, they contributed to how Bitcoin moves now and it's making Bitcoin to be centralized and controlled by some group of people.

There isn't a reason required to make it go up or down because we already have that reason "the market". If we end up buying or selling as much as we want, then we are free to move the market as much as we want, and there isn't any SEC or whatever to check up on us, we can buy and sell however we want. Rich people do that harder, because they are checked more carefully, but when you combine millions of small retail investors, those people end up being better too so that means we are capable of moving it very fastly down or up whenever we want to, that should be the most important note from this.

Nothing wrong monitoring price for immediate trade or short term but as investor what they should target is the time to sell of their investment and even when that time is near and people don't seem to have the profits they desired they could still extend it to more circlic period where they would experience another halving the push back the price further again. Then for altcoin or memecoin it's important to constantly checking them because when you dump them in your bags you don't need to skip otherwise it could dump on them that is why it's important to monitor altcoin.

Bitcoin moved to and above $60,000 after dropping down to below $50k some days back, and yesterday, the price touched down to around $56k, and just as I am writing this post, bitcoin is a little above $58k.

I understand that there are perhaps, millions of people around the world buying and selling bitcoin, which is the reason for all the sudden and fast price changes, but still, I believe there are some whales somewhere manipulating the price to their own benefit, ordinarily, the price of bitcoin by now should be above $70k, but seems there are some forces holding it from going cross $60 - $65k.

Post 2021 we haven't seen the price of Bitcoin getting influenced by big news. The only news that pumped the price of Bitcoin was about Bitcoin ETFs approval process.  Big influencers and even the politicians have not been able to manipulate the price of Bitcoin. I think it is the current overall global situation that is creating a panic in the market. As of today the price again went back to $58K.

Yes you could be right, they are doing that for their own personal benefits because I know as people are involving themselves into trade it could be very much easier to be swinging the price in an uncontrollable manner. Where if the price are being manipulated the smaller investors would panicked and sell of their bitcoin in small dip and immediately price can be increasing back. That is why it's advisable to be doing DCA especially those who have enough funds can actually be doing that gradually without any lose or involving themselves into a set buy off.
