You get karma when someone reads your post and decides that they like what you’ve written - or if the post is helpful to that topic being discussed, there’s no pattern for posts that gets karma. As long as your post is helpful and relevant to the topic you’ll get karma (if people actually read it, but in cases where it get skipped you won’t get any).
.....
Which means you’ll have to make all your posts constructive if you wish to earn karma from all of them or most of them.
I just found out that the rules are like that for Karma giving and it seems very interesting to discuss.
Yes, I also try to continue making constructive posts because I am present in this altcoinstalks forum to learn about cryptocurrency.
I almost forgot to mention; not all ranks can give out Karma - you’ll have to get to a certain rank before you’ll be able to give karma to a post you think is useful and also there’s a time limit for which you can give karma to the same user, which I think is “10 hours” I’m not sure if that’s that exact time though.
......
This is also a very unique question for me because I saw on my account profile I didn't find a button to send Karma.
This is very strange for me who is new here and that's why I asked about this Karma.
Honestly, i give it to you after your reply here https://www.altcoinstalks.com/index.php?topic=323353.msg1602544#msg1602544
Congrats to your first karma, i suggest you to read more and provide more useful thoughts, posts, facts and quality posts to get more karma.
Yosshhh, Thanks sir, you are the first member who sent me Karma and I currently have 4 Karma. Amazing.
That means I also get Karma from other members, even though my posts are just like usual which is what I experienced and I am present in this altcoinstalks only to learn about cryptocurrency.
Just continue to post good, more of your posts would be liked and be be given Karma. I see Karma similar just like the likes on social media like Facebook and Twitter.
.....
My Pleasure, I am here just for FUN and to learn cryptocurrency, I also don't want to be too serious in the altcoinstalks forum because my life is already too serious.
But one side I don't know who sent this Karma to me, is this Karma a positive or negative thing in the altcoinstalks forum?
I think it's another way to say thank you and it might be useful to help you join a signature campaign but I don't think campaign managers focus on it.
If you don't get Karma, it's not bad, but negative Karma gives a negative impression about your account.
Ah yes that's right, maybe they say "Thank You" by giving "Karma", this didn't cross my mind and it makes sense to me.
Are there any members in this forum who have Negative Karma?
It seems I haven't searched more widely in the altcoinstalks forum because I see that those who reply to each of my posts mostly have a lot of Karma, more than 30.
-snip-
This was a surprise for me and I have been thinking a bit about where this Karma comes from, can anyone explain it to me in detail?
Users generally cannot see who gave the karma and also which posts were given karma, whether positive karma or negative karma.
However, if you want to get a detailed karma log, you can try the 'The Eye of Sauron' feature (note: this feature is paid):
https://www.altcoinstalks.com/index.php?topic=316161
Well, it seems like this makes me think hard because when you want to open a hidden feature you have to pay, is this marketing from the Admin and Staff?
But the paid feature is not a problem for those who have the funds and are very interested in opening the locked feature, like this to open Karma Log you have to pay by burning ALTT tokens.
I give you Karma + on your following post:
https://www.altcoinstalks.com/index.php?topic=323352.msg1601120#msg1601120
Oh thank you sir, you are the second member who honestly gave a statement about giving Karma after @PX-Z. I am very happy.
This was a surprise for me and I have been thinking a bit about where this Karma comes from, can anyone explain it to me in detail?
.....
To earn more karma, just keep being of value to the forum, contribute reasonably to discussions so someone can learn from you, and give your comment or post a karma, or maybe give you karma because someone will be able to learn from what you posted.
Yossh, I'm here at altcoinstalks for FUN and to learn cryptocurrency and maybe this is also a FUN discussion because altcoinstalks has a lot of features that I may not have known before (that's for sure).
I also may only know 1% about the contents of altcoinstalks and this is the right choice for me to continue learning cryptocurrency.
