There are some more sections like Quarantine & Test Area with the same functions. The General Discussion board is much softer moderated and posts in there are also not counted for the activity, but they are visible for guests and SE spider bots. There are different kinds of boards, some don't give benefits for ranking up, right.

It seems that this is indeed a rank factor, because I'm new here and my rank is still low, so there are still many parts of altcoinstalks that are hidden. But that doesn't matter because there must be a member who handles it, such as Admin and Moderator. Until now I am still comfortable being able to be present at altcoinstalks.

There are hidden threads and topics on this forum that are allowed to specific people like a discussion thread for moderators and admin only. They discuss about things that they can't discuss openly in public it's like a private WhatsApp group where selected members are elected to join it and they talk about specific things.

I just found out that there are things like this in the forum and this is better for them to discuss privately to advance the Altcoinstalks forum or discuss the techniques of the Altcoinstallks forum.

If that topic is not hidden from us then that topic is not present anymore. I was also a bit shocked when I come to know about hidden topics but it's just the functionality of the forum I don't know if bitcointalk has a hidden section. But I am sure they have.

In various forums there seems to be something like this, if in the Altcoinstalks forum there is. This is just my estimate.

Correct. But to give you more information, not all permissions granted by the administrator are the same for all moderators nor do they have the same "scope" when it comes to accessing certain parts of the forum. It depends on whether the moderator is local to one of the different forum languages, moderator, global moderator, vice president or president.

But there is a board that is limited to certain ranks if you didn't know... this board seems to only be accessible to Hero members and above, so if you are still below Sr. Member then you probably can't access this board. Because when I was still in Sr. member rank I really couldn't access this board.
