Actually, being a long-term or short-term holder can be done simultaneously because we know that if we only hold long-term, we need funds that are not used for the near future, 3-4 years. While short-term trading we can get daily profits, if we do daily trading.

Long term is more easier because you can do other stuff both crypto stuffs and non crypto stuffs without any problems later but as for the daily trading, your time is of the essence and your knowledge distribution across crypto state is very necessary and not just that, your knowledge about the trend is important as well.

There is also times that you may not really make anything from the market doing daily or term holding because this market is uncertain most of the time. Even the long term sometimes don't yield profit quickly talk more of the short term holding

I do agree.
It all depends on expertise, time needed, and a bit of luck.
Usually going long-term while investing is great because the risks are smaller in comparison. Without the needed knowledge, you can easily lose your funds while trading.
But the potential in

Well technically there are all kind of like the same thing because they involve waiting for a specific period of time but I think swing trading is more riskier than the rest of them due to the unstable direction of the market. Each of them has their risks because the financial market is generally complex this is why you must apply risk management. But before earning from the crypto space you must take your time to learn, learning makes you more skilled and knowledgeable and makes you have a better approach to the Market

           -     Doesn't saying you are long-term traders mean you are an investor? And because your vision plan is long-term, that also means that you are holders willing to wait a long time for bitcoin or cryptocurrency that you believe can give you good earnings in the future.

So I can't seem to see that they are different; I can even say that they are different if the OP said that they are short-term traders, although they are still investors who can also be considered holders for a short period of time.

I agree with you, we are all investors and traders, although many people are trying to divide and differentiate traders from holders.

Sometimes, investors even include those who participate in pre-sales or support #DevelopmentTeam s. These are actions that traders and holders rarely do.

Holders are actually also traders, they are traders who hold a position for the long term, which can be many months or many years.

Traders are often understood to be people who trade frequently, such as intra-day traders.

Anyway, these definitions are not really important, each market participant has their own capabilities, time frame, and preferences. As long as our efforts generate profits, the titles of investor-trader-holder no longer matter.

Long-term traders, more precisely holders. In my opinion, traders focus more on the short term and sometimes the medium term.
I prefer to be a long-term holder, but sometimes I also trade when I see a good market for trading. Being a holder is safer and does not require focusing on watching the market, this is widely used by those who are busy in the real world.

Do you consider these three entities mentioned in title same thing or different? If latter, what's difference between each of these entities?
Actually the goal is the same, which is to gain profit in holding cryptocurrency coins.
But of course it is different in its implementation, Trading in the long term we buy on the exchange then we wait for the price to rise for a long time then sell it.
Investors, meaning we invest in Crypto coins, of course after we get the coins and the price is high we sell them.
Then holding coins is the same, we buy then hold until the price is high and sell them.
So confused too, actually the three terms mean the same or different ?!

Actually long-term trading is holding, buying and holding it in echange waiting for the price to rise then selling it. There is no difference between long-term trading and holding for the long term because both are waiting for the time to get profit then selling it. What is more specific and requires skills is short-term trading.

To gain experience from both crypto investing, trading and holding you need to enter their markets. When you are good at trading strategically, you will get a share of the profits every day. But here there is a fear of losing your money altogether. On the other hand, if you are holding top currency for long time then there is possibility of one time big profit. If the market falls, you will get some loss of money but your fund will not be lost at all. Moreover everyone knows that one can earn a lot of money from crypto trading, but this road is not easy at all. But with solid strategy, technical and fundamental analysis you can profit from trading. Taking higher risk can get you higher rewards from your investment.

So the answer is that all three terms have the same meaning, and we don't need to be confused anymore to find the answer to the OP's question above. Indeed, trading in this way is widely done by traders or investors at certain moments to get big profits. As a crypto trader, whether a beginner or a professional, we should understand terms like that.

Traders need more expertise, I imagine, whereas investors - they need it too, but the risks for them are much lower due to what was described in replies above.

The biggest and most difficult task of an investor is to invest in the right stock or currency, fortunately in the crypto world the main task has already been done, it is known that bitcoin is the safest stock and currency in the world, the one that never disappoints, the investor just has to buy and wait patiently to see how over time the magic will happen and that is enough for them to generate any kind of profit, I think that if those things are taken into consideration it is sufficient, also what is sought is to win, an investor must always have a lot of patience.

Talking about safe and right crypto currency, it seems that bitcoin is the main choice. Because bitcoin is always a priority for big investors for long-term holding. We can also choose other potential altcoins, currently I like BNB, TON and Solana as favorite altcoins, sorry I don't really like ethereum in this cycle because it seems to be struggling.

Long term traders vs Investors vs Holders I consider three of them is same and the point is they want to gain profit in the future but there is might differences in one thing or two. I just do quick google search and found that

"A "long-term trader" is someone who actively manages investments with a longer time horizon, aiming to profit from market trends over an extended period, while an "investor" typically holds assets for a much longer time with less frequent trading, focusing on the long-term growth of a company, and a "holder" simply passively owns an asset without actively managing it, often with the intention of holding it for a very long time, potentially without considering short-term market fluctuations" - Google

Usually, trading can be considered as investing but investing cannot be called and considered as trading. When you trade that means you invest, but if you invest it's either it's a short term or long term, you need to make a choice between the time frame. In trading it depends on your position too, if you hold long position for extended timeframe, that means long term trading and on the other hand it's short term trading, like day trading and etc.

Holding are either of the two, it's either in long term and short term as well, it's the same on investing.

Back to the question, if you put it with "long term" for both holding and investing, i will call it the same, but since there's nothing, so they are not.

Long term traders vs Investors vs Holders I consider three of them is same and the point is they want to gain profit in the future but there is might differences in one thing or two. I just do quick google search and found that
Indeed, all three have the same goal of making a profit:

Long-term trading means that you trade for a long time, say a week or month, to make a profit.

Investor means you dare to invest in any field.

HODL you keep strong to hold the long term and that's what I'm doing right now instead of trading.
