Can someone from moderators update Latest news on top, since voting for new forum senators is closed several days ago and we selected three new members as senators.
Maybe you can change it that voting is finished with names of new senators, or post some different news that is not related with elections.

It's been few hours since this was posted, but it looks like admin is busy and mods doesn't have access on this forum feature to change it.

It's been few hours since this was posted, but it looks like admin is busy and mods doesn't have access on this forum feature to change it.

It needs someone with some "admin-based" permissions last I checked, in this case admin or president, possibly vice president also can't remember.

This is another reminder for admin to continue working on returning my presidential permissions, then I would of removed it already

I think that displaying the new senators (and old ones too) names is a good idea

We have so much fast sliding news in new bar and they need to sync with static news.

Yes it is true the sliding news in news bar is fast for me, my eyesight is getting a bit weak and I find it hard to read the fast headlines completely, so maybe it would be good to slow down a bit.

Also when I press the pause button the news bar goes back to the beginning which is not good, it is better to continue from where it stopped.

Completely agree with you on the speed of the news updates in the new bar, it's sure too fast and it's really hard to  keep up with reading the update after a few seconds, admin can do well to slow the slide's speed down a bit to support comfortable reading.

And regarding the second part of your comment which talks about pausing the news bar, I actually have not tried pausing the news slide, but if what you said about it always retuning to the beginning is correct, then I believe that is a bug and admin and his team to do well by fixing it, they can even step up a bit by making the bar slideable manually after pressing the pause button, this can help readers to easily view the part of the news that is hidden in tbt edges even while the bar is still paused.

Speed is way off and much faster than it should be.

It should be renamed to RESET button instead of Pause, but I need total stop button.
I found a workaround way how to ''stop'' news bar but I can't say more about that.

Yes that's right, it would have been better if the bar stopped as soon as you hovered over the news, this is what I saw in many sites that use the sliding news bar.

It's not a military top secret at all, but I don't want to reveal anything it in public and make it easy for admin to change something again
I can say that it's not hard for someone to create scripts that can help with anything you don't like in forum.

Especially when that someone is PowerGlove, he has really created some awesome scripts for Bitcointalk but I guess he's not on this forum otherwise he might also contribute some scripts here.

Still no change.
Latest news is telling us to vote for senators almost one month after initial post was published and voting process was finished.
I guess there is nothing wrong with that and his is a positive thing so I wont criticize anything...

It is very possible that the admin is cooking something important, so he is quite busy. I would give him a little more time, maybe he will surprise us all.

I didn't see him posting anything in this topic so maybe he doesn't know about this issue, and I won't tell him anything about it, because he is saying I always tell him only negative things

Currently in the process, but implementing new features is always a demanding job. He hasn't written much about it, probably because he's busy Karma associated to post

btw. About my senator role, I believe that the administration is not the happiest with that choice, I guess I also criticized too much. But that is the brilliance of democracy
