One question guys, staking or savings which do you guys consider the best?

I have some USDT I don't plan on spending or trading anytime soon but I still want to put it to use, I considered staking it but then I found out the exchange I was using had usdt savings of up to 18% APR and now I'm not sure if savings will be the better choice than staking

What do you guys think? Besides, the savings are also flexible and not a fixed time like the staking
Don't use those exchangers who are providing high rate APR specially for the stable coin. Because it is quite hard for a cex to give that percentage of the APR and it looks for me phishy also. I will always avoid these kind of staking speacially on the exchangers.

Now if you notice that the APR rate is up to 18% it is not the 18% so even they start with the 18% APR may be after few days going they can decrease the APR rate as they want like I have staked on binance few month ago with 12% APR and after some day I saw that APR percentage decrease to 8% and after few more days they down to 0.3%. SO if you have big fund store them on decentralized wallet for safety because centralized exchanger are not trustable for holding funds.

I think choosing between staking and saving depends on certain factors, for example, staking involves risk associated with the volatility of crypto prices, network vulnerabilities and the potential loss of s staked assets.
In my opinion, savings( flexible savings) is a better options because you can easily redeem your assets and take a long or short positions especially if you are a holder or a short term investor.
Staking is also good if we do it on the official website, I also do staking on binance and it's safe. because while waiting for the bullish season we can also get income from staking. I also invest, but only in a few potential coins for long-term holding. In addition, I trade to get profit even though it's not big because my capital is small.
Staking on a trusted platform gives us the chance to keep earning passive income, especially during periods when bulls are not active with their rhetoric. That is why when investing I stake on Binance; this way, one is able to optimally utilize the assets in question while ensuring that they are safe from potential loss.

Furthermore, even with a small amount of invested and traded capital it must be said that long-term investment and trading are also profitable. It keeps us on our feet and generating necessary income to support our efforts, starting small and increasing over time.

there's no way you can compare staking your unused crypto currencies on platforms that are safe and secure as doing so is more profitable, it's like an investment especially with APR of up to 18%. staking with your crypto currencies should be encouraged more than saving, one of the key thing that differentiate the poor and the rich is the investment mind set as the rich man is also looking for ways to increase his profit, saving don't allow you to get anything from your crypto currencies so I would strongly advise people to stake their crypto currency if they don't plan using it soon

Oh how I love these topics, OP comes out of nowhere, makes some claims that seem quite ridiculous on the percentage that can be earned and despite coming here to get answers to his question he doesn't reply once despite a dozen users being genuinely interested in what exchange is he using and where are those numbers coming from.

So I will stop myself from asking the same question as it's obvious we won't be getting an answer.

Poor people and rich people in investing equally want to get a profit, maybe the difference is that the rich do it with a power because they have a large capital. Whereas small investors sometimes experience panic when the Crypto market changes and has corrected because they are afraid of losing their capital.

Between saving or staking, I personally prefer saving because there are not as many risks as staking, and if there is a good project I can buy it straight away if possible, if the price is good I can also exchange it for fiat and buy again when the price drops again

Staking is not risky if you do it on a trusted exchange with a good reputation like binance, I do savings and also staking. because I hold for the long term, I decided to do staking because while waiting for the bullish season we get benefits from staking. the best way to wait is by trading, but this requires additional capital.

Staking is not risky? you must check with how many coins price dropped drastically and you can memorize well with the gaming coins AXS have listed on Binance. First time staking feature release the AXS coins offer around 100% reward but few months later price dropped more than 70% and how much loss for staking with that coins?
Actually if staking reward offer under 10% its not worth yet for staking however said not risk but when price going drop get more loss than profitable earn from staking, better with saving or use our assets for trading and take profit as much possible than staking get one years moment get return.

That choosing a platform with high reliability really can become a powerful position for those of us who want to increase crypto assets while observing the market’s charges. By doing it this way, not only we save the investment worth but may have the changes of additional revenue. Nevertheless, it is very important that to attain that the assets staked should be easily liquid and should reflect the required risk profile that we have. Again, if we are interested in going a step further and trading, then there is the question of capital structure so as to be in a position to manage risks without compromising long investment.

18% is quite a high number, if it is in the form of USDT, I think more people will use the service than having to make a deposit in the bank... but if it is a cryptocurrency coin or altcoin, it is still within reasonable limits, because there is still tolerance for anticipating volatility that could fall deeper, causing profits when converted to FIAT to be unsatisfactory.

I prefer to stake on some events, for example airdrop on binance or other trusted platforms. It brings instant and repeatable profits.

Previously I also did staking on several trusted exchanges. but because the profit was small I finally decided to focus on trading. and that made me get higher profits than just staking.
Each investor has their own considerations, because maybe those who are not traders will prefer staking while waiting for the bullish season.
I agree with their way, because rather than not having the time, focus, knowledge and experience in trading, it is better not to take the risk of trading.

Every strategy in investing has its own pros and cons and it will be up to us to determine which of those strategies is best suited to our strength and what we want to achieve. If trading gives more fulfilling results, then shifting to that form of activity is only reasonable. On the contrary, staking still remains an enticing opportunity to make passive profits without leading to high risks. We are all unique in how we handle assets, the key here is to always study the market and modify our steps as necessary for any of us.

You either do it responsibly, or you risk to lose your depo or even more - your patience.
So, in order to start trading, one must be ready to face not only the market in its technicalities but also himself mentally.

I stake a bit of USDT on OKX when the Bull hits as like now, the percents at such times are quite lucrative if the funds are sufficient.
But it's not that much when the market is slow and steady.
