The crypto market is hard to predict, because I also experienced the same as you. I only sold some of my bitcoins when it went up to $87K, it turned out that the price of bitcoin went up again to touch $99K. but that's investing, sometimes our predictions are wrong and be prepared to buy potential coins when the crypto market is correcting because we will likely see a deep correction after bitcoin reaches ATH $99K. the current price of bitcoin is $92K

In case, the price of a large coin like bitcoin rises or corrects itself, there are always new opportunities in the market. In this way, we can ensure that price movements are what our money needs moving for, and capitalise on further chances when the price corrects.

Well, Any trading plan must always have its advantages and disadvantages at any market never mind the market condition. More points can be earned through uses of margin all and futures as compared to spot trading though the profits earning are gradual. These are not threats that one with long term investment horizon needs to worry about because the underlying assets have the ability to bounce back when the cycle swings. I will not disagree with you because you are talking about the margin and future trading and even then if you would say day trading on spot I will not disagree with you.
And here I want to say that the professional traders who were the day trader most of them trade on  both season whether it is Bull season or whether it is bear season or in the middle of them always there use their experience and trading analysis is skill for doing there trade.
And also about trader who don't trade in brearish season and also don't make profit on the bearish season those are long-term trader and those who don't have analysis skill but they did invest.

At least with this, we know and understand which altcoins at least have a higher chance of rising from the bearish era to this bullish era. because not all altcoins have the chance to survive and rise again. many altcoins ultimately end up as dead coins. especially if the coins have been abandoned by their team, there is no hope for it anymore.

We cannot overemphasise the importance of the state of mind that is helpful for trading. Many times when the markets are fluctuating we tend to act on impulse, therefore having your emotions in cheque is very beneficial. Mentally approaching the scenario beforehand helps through making one less annoyed or upset with pressure thus ensuring consistency with the staking out strategy which has been set out beforehand. This way, we are able to understand the market risks and indeed capture new opportunities that are available for exploitation.

that's what i do, i prefer to choose top altcoins because they have been proven to survive until now and have a large community. many altcoins die because they are not popular. but top altcoins still survive until now and if we buy when it's bullish and hold it until the bullish season of course we will benefit from those coins.
although i choose top coins i also do research and analysis on those coins before i buy them. i make observations and if i am sure it will go up high during the bullish season, i will hold those top coins.

One could actually make more profit when buying and holding during the bear market than one could in bull market. It all depends on mindset and strategy of the investors. Even traders can make good profits during the huge dips of bear market.

This is an example of the lamest thing that most people never do, now with the current price of bitcoin things are different, for example, btc is almost at $100k, and there are many people who regret not having bought when it was at $70k or better and they had their great opportunity, in this case things should be seen in the right way, what would have happened if with that market that was not bearish, would they have bought? they would have won big at this moment, then the opportunities should be taken advantage of in all their splendor and not regret it later, I am sure that when there is a strong correction many will buy.

Cryptocurrency market is very unstable right now. When Bitcoin price goes down many other cryptocurrencies also go down. And when Bitcoin price goes up many altcoins go up too. Not all altcoins are same. When market is very unstable stronger and more established altcoins do better. Weaker or less well known altcoins have harder time surviving in these conditions.

The DCA method is something that many people do when the market is sluggish. For example, when there was a very big drop in bitcoin some time ago, many people started accumulating using the DCA method and it worked.

          -      Most of the time during bearish season, what others do to keep their assets safe is just hold for the long term and buy cryptos that they want to accumulate because crypto assets are usually cheap during bearish season.
