Well first and foremost the charts speak for them selves the idea of an altcoin bull is a little bit naive if you ask me because the chances of altcoins pumping generally leaving only bitcoin behind would be quite impossible. If you check, crypto currency markets are based on their equivalent market cap most of the time and bitcoin has the highest market cap therefore its price movement is to an extent felt by the whole crypto market.
One of the biggest altcoin season I've ever experienced is the season that happened recently and seems to be fading away gradually though. Literally every coin on the market pumped alongside bitcoin.
Mate, I don't think altcoins season has happened recently or even through out 2024, but what many are calling altcoins season are the few altcoins moving along side the Bitcoin trends or pumps.
Yes, Bitcoin controls the crypto market, uptrends and downtrends movements, and most times many altcoins move according to the bitcoin trends, but this does not mean we are in altcoins season.
Like i have been explaining to some people, probably newbie traders/investors, Bitcoin continueous demand or pumps give room for higher dominance rates. Bitcoin dominant rate is a factor that also determine general altcoins pumps or season, and if the dominant rates doe not retrace back to a very low levels, altcoins may not have a full season. Currently the Bitcoin dominance rates, as at the time of writing this post is standing at 59.33%, too high to ignite an altcoins Bull run. Check the coinmarketcap platform for details
