Gensler Resigning Soon?

There is a circulating rumor now that Gary Gensler will be resigning within this month and be leaving his post before the Trump inauguration in January 20, 2024. I am sure that once his resignation will be official there can be huge pump in Bitcoin and yes XRP.

It is still a rumor but Bitcoin and XRP have increased well. 
Sure, there will be higher increase in Bitcoin price if Gary Gensler really resigns from his position in SEC as a leader. People will be more enthusiastic and feel more confident with crypto coins because Gary Gensler always becomes the source of the problems. Moreover if the new chairperson of SEC will be a person who is friendly with crypto, I'm sure all crypto coins will increase their prices (not only Bitcoin and XRP).

Rumors and speculations are all we need to make a little rise in price  I do think it's real and we are going to have a better SEC chancellor, hopefully.

He is expected to resign, though since Trump cannot fire him, he might decide to see out him tenure, hopefully he doesn't. Gary's regulation by enforcement has never made sense to me, it is almost like witch-hunting, i don't have a problem with some regulation, but not in the way he has done it.

Many people disagree with Gary Gensler, so this is what triggered Trump to make a statement that he would fire him. because according to observations, Gary does things that hinder the growth of crypto and this is not good for the progress of the crypto currency. As if the SEC is held by the wrong person while crypto is a technological advancement that should be supported.

Hopefully, we will see more advancements in that field and more good news to come. SEC chair should be held by somebody better.

Smart Garry, he want to resign so his dignity can remain in tact and avoid any disappointment that will goes with his name when Trump finally comes to the office. At least, XRP has gotten an edge where they can go back to the price where they were trading before the chairman came for them with the security suit, I see this development as freedom for crypto and XRP community.

I can't wait to see who is going to be new man, hopefully he is man of integrity with crypto knowledge and sensible enough to understand what is good and what is bad because the majority of them focus on the bad side of crypto.

But we can't blame him entirely since he was working under a government, and must be following instructions given to him, he must do well to resign before Trump assumes office, atleast, doing this will save him the shame of being fired, or running into conflict with Trump since it's clear that Trump doesn't like him..

Yea, we can't really blame Gensler for doing his job the way the Joe Biden's government wanted it to be. As we all know, the Biden's government never endorsed cryptocurrency as a mainstream financial tool, I believe Gensler on his part was also trying to align with the system on ground. He has tried his best, but this time, his best doesn't align with the incoming administration's plan. His resignation is very necessary to avoid conflict of interest.

its about time Gensler to be kicked out. he is just one of the headcase in the government  who smiles widely when he hurts an industry. all the memecoins skyrocketing and they can't bust it because after all they can't consider shitcoins as security.

Gensler just announced his resignation, even if his term is up to 2026. So what we are going to watch now is who is going to be the next SEC czar who is going to replace Gensler, We are all hoping it is someone who knows cryptocurrency very well and is very lenient to the cause of Bitcoin that will help Trump fulfill his promises to the Cryptocurrency community.

Oh, i didn't know about this, thanks for posting it here. So it is settled, he is stepping down, to the delight of most bitcoiners and crypto users all over the world. It will be interesting to see who Trump appoints as the new sec chairman, but i am sure it would be someone who wouldn't regulate the industry by enforcement.

If Solana ETF was filled for and approved before this time, probably Solana might not got to the recent all-time high which was yesterday or so. Although things is speculation. Etheeum has been underperforming before its ETF was approved. But after the ETF approval, we were all surprised as ethereum underperformed more.

It's because Gary has aligned himself with a government that is anti-crypto, and so with that, he has nothing or force to really do his jobs witch hunting crypto projects. He had a high profile case against Ripple in which they have lost.

And now that Trump wins, and him stepping down, we have seen XRP rally as well with a huge 10%++ increased already.

Hopefully, the one that we will get will be very pro-Crypto and there will be no cases against any project under Trump administration.

... Not that I am supporting the man but just implying how his resignation may not have effect on bitcoin price.

It may actually, knowing how his decisions and other regulations made before  including the cases of every exchanges we know about affects the opinions of crypto people to him aside from accepting some ETF.
Knowing how bullish people to Trump these days, if he resign earlier within 3 months or right after Trump goes to office probably there are some threats happened there to make it happen aside from Trump saying he will kick him of the office. I know SEC chair are not politically chosen by the president only but with the senate too.
