Bitcoin has been on a SOLO bull run, will it continue in 2025?

there have been some really good performances from altcoins this past year but i do think there is a possibility we have not seen the best of them yet and this year we might see the altcoins we are holding do well once bitcoin starts to dip from its ath

Alt season isn't there at all, it's BTC rally for now.

yeah we are nowhere near a proper upside for almost all coins.

btc needs to double say 210k or more
eth needs to reach 11k or more

Too vague to say alt season when some alts goes dump and some goes reach new heights in different time while bitcoin is reaching new ATH or not. So we can't really say it's alt season or not when some alts goes beyond increase snd some don't.

Yes, there will definitely be a time for altcoin season. It's just that not all altcoins in alt season will be able to rise very quickly and skyrocket like other altcoins. And as you said, certain altcoins. and this is actually quite tricky for some altcoins that are not really the top ones. There are some old altcoins that have dropped very badly, such as ADA, EOS, LTC, and so on. Can this rise again during alt season?

Of course there is no guarantee. So, only certain altcoins can experience an increase, especially altcoins that still have potential, a high community, and also developers who care.

This is bitcoin just doing bitcoin things. It doesn't look like BTC is going to move sideways anytime soon and allow the alts to decrease its dominance. It's probably best to wait or speculate early which of the altcoin ETF applications will be approved first. Institutional money would flow there too for sure.

I think that from statistics, Bitcoin dominance has climbed from 38% to 59% since the FTX collapse, and there is no indications of dominance dropping any time soon. Obviously, if Bitcoin dominance continues with the current trends, we may not see the much anticipated altcoins season in 2025.

Bitcoin has shown a lot of strength, dominance, price growth adoptions, awareness etc, for more than one year, a huge weakness for altcoins to consolidate a full bull run. Many of us may agree with me that the currently Btc dominance has being responsible for the continuing altcoins constant market weakness, price bleeding, poor demands and other factors.
Now, i think the expectations of altcoins season(a full altcoins Bull run) are high, unfortunately, there seems to be no green light for altcoins season in sight even in early 2025. Can there be a break out?

I also see the solo bull run of bitcoin, because i am holding altcoins and i don't see any progress from my holdings it sounds very frustrating to those who hold altcoins that getting excited because it is bull run but no change in value of the particular altcoins that we hold, but i still believe that there will be a bull run also in altcoins maybe it is delayed but not so far it will follow btc bull run.

All this mathematics doesn't really matter, just hold and watch out the market does his thing. 100k used to be discussed but today it's now a thing of now and similarly that $1m that is been discussed will one day be something of the present and past, it's just about the patience and how we are going to cope together and be bullish all the time.

If $100k is seen many times, even other price will be seen later in the future but if we fast forwarded the price like a flash, if there is no correction, there is going to be huge fall when the price decided to fall and it wouldn't be good for the market.

Then it is necessary to make preparations before entering the market and see what coins to buy, because the characteristics of each coin are different.
Having a better understanding will indeed help to be able to know when to leave and when to enter.
It's also about experience, how much experience one has will make a person survive the undesirable market conditions, there is always a backup plan made.

Of course, people who have knowledge and experience, they won't easily panic. However, sometimes we as human, can panic because of some matters. It is actually normal because it is a part of human nature. But if we have knowledge and experience, we don't decide anything in hurry. We must do analysis, and we can learn many sources firstly.

For those meme coins, it is better to avoid holding them for a long time. So, it only deserves to hold and sell as long as they are hype. I never try to hold a long time although I also do analysis on this coins.
