I have not lost anything much in crypto, i have never been scammed or fell victim to scam, i know a lot about scammers, so i know how to avoid them. I also do not take risks by buying too many coins that i am unsure of, i rather like to stick to BTC which i trust and i hold it for the long run, so i can say my crypto journey has been smooth so far.
Good for you on which this is really that actually possible on which you will be able to avoid up things specially if you are really that reading others experiences because at the time that you will be dealing up with something then you will be that immediately trying out to deal up directly without trying out to read up others experiences. If you are really that eager on learning things then you can actually be able to avoid on what most newbies do able to encounter or experience. Mistakes and errors are really that normal and if you cant be able to learn with those then crypto investment isnt for you.

Millions of dollars disappear in the blink of an eye, snatched away by scammers who prey on hope and ignorance. That's not just money, it's dreams shattered, futures stolen, and families devastated.
Crypto scams are getting bolder by the day, but there's also money lost on one stupid trade (it's me :) ). It sucks.
So studying, learning, and preparing for the better days ahead is the best thing I can do.

Very interesting, when it comes with knowledge and experience, maybe it can be avoided, but at the beginning, more or less, of course there is and it is impossible to be zero at all because the crypto world is very volatile.
In the beginning of my crypto journey i was not greedy, i was introduced by someone who let me know that crypto is not a get rich quick scheme. So i put knowledge over greed or the desire to become rich in a split second, and maybe that is why i was not scammed in my early times.

Why we often lose money in cryptocurrency is because of becoming too high in quest for profits and of course anyone who is that demanding wouldn't be that mindful or careful with their investments and could easily leads to scam.
For someone to remain vigilant in crypto they must reduced their quest for profits otherwise they would easily fall prey to predators who are there hunting for the prey to catch up.

Sorry for your experience, but in crypto less and more everyone carries the loss but there are some people whose losses are low. I never had a serious scandal to me or did not lose a lot of money, as I always in the case of conservation of careful funds. Moreover, I always try to keep the wallet of my fund safe so that the scammer community does not attack me. Most of my long time holding is in the profit bag because I like to hold top altcoins like BTC, ETH. The amount of my loss is more in trading because I lost a lot of money from my early trading.

People who chase high profits are greedy people, because in investing we should not be greedy because it will make us lose. and you are right, we will be the target of fraudsters if we are not focused and careful in investing in the crypto world. There are many scammers in the crypto world, we must be careful.

Sure, we often expect too much, so we missed the chance for profits. That makes us losing money because we have no realistic targets. But if we don't expect too much, we can be safe. But for trading, it is seriously difficult to avoid losses because the price change is very difficult to predict. To avoid scam, we can choose the top coins/tokens only. Most scams come from new projects. We kindly don't invest in new coins/tokens.

The way you do it is right by always guarding your wallet, because scammers and hackers will always be in the crypto world.
I have also experienced fraud by clicking on a link, where my wallet was taken over and my crypto assets were taken. but not in large amounts, because it was just a new wallet that I used to participate in the airdrop.

Expecting too much will make us greedy, especially in trading we must have realistic targets and in accordance with the analysis and targets that we have determined.
Avoiding fraud on new projects, we must be more careful because they have tricks that promise something unreasonable and tempting.

It is not very easy to maintain our progress in doing something particularly when we are faced with expectations as well as with reality. Frequently, one stands out as a result of our wrong decisions, often due to excessive desire. In this case, we should set realistic expectations to avoid being carried away by feeling that may be counterproductive. Moreover, one thing that should not be taken lightly is generally the concept of alertness whenever one is confronted with something new. Some parties make many attempts to allure people to partake what is being offered but in most cases this results leads to a disappointment. This shall ensure we avoid traps that may come up hence possessing a calm and careful attitude in assessing everything. It is certain that if an individual takes his time in making a decision, the end product will be much more effective than if he make a hasty decision without enough thought.

Eight years in Cryptocurreny, I have lost and gained a lot of money in this cryptocurrency industry, if asked how much of course I forgot because I never added it up. But besides losing, I also often get income from here, and it is more than the amount of loss I have ever experienced.

Honestly, I have never lost money in crypto because I have never earned money from crypto. A few weeks ago I got rewards from the RomboMix project and I immediately withdrew it to my local market to be withdrawn to my personal account.
Until now, I have never had any more money from crypto and I hope to be able to earn money from crypto again. Of course I have to be a little patient and continue to be active in this altcoinstalks forum.

I think those who lose money in crypto are those who trade and invest in projects that are just about to launch aka ICO. For trading and ICO, I definitely avoid projects like this. That's not my style.

Now is not the ICO era anymore, now is the memecoin era, buying meme coins for candy and hoping to get a house or luxury goods from it... people who lose $1 or $10 will not be noisy, and uniquely many have become victims of the existence of memecoin, even reaching millions of people...

The amount of money I lost from cryptocurrency is no more than $3000 and the benefits or income that I have brought from cryptocurrency until now may have reached around $45k since I joined and started learning crypto from the newbie class.

I am sure many people gained a lot worth of money while playing in this very exciting cryptocurrency industry where huge opportunities and big risks collide...sometimes doing us some favor and sometimes also taking something from us. Through the years, I have had been exposed to scams, frauds and mistakes that in retrospect could have already made me rich at least in my country's standard. In my estimated, I think I lost at least $300K mostly in terms of potential earnings primarily because I let go of my 2 Bitcoin maybe around 5 years ago and made many mistakes (including getting into bad programs and projects) that cost me good amount of coins and tokens along the way.
Cryptocurrencies have a lot of potential, but it is risky to completely trust centralized exchanges (CEX) because, up to now, there are still CEX exchanges that have experienced hacking cases. Of course, they have lost a lot of money because the exchange had problems, suddenly closed, and no longer functioned. Their support contacts do not work well, and scams dictate short withdrawal times. For now, you should be careful when investing in cryptocurrencies, especially in CEX exchanges.

$300k is not a joke, sorry to hear that. Thank God I've never been into crypto scams and frauds. I always DMOR to avoid those tricks. Lots of scammers are now in the crypto industry because they know that they can get a lot here. Your experience will be a lesson for me to continue what im doing, continue to seek and research before giving money to bad people.
