Personally, I think the winner would already got enough karma for their posts. I don't think given karma bombs would be so good... specially so high amounts ..

That the winners are given those amounts of Karma (they were just an example) I don't think it has anything to do with the number of good posts that are needed to obtain those quantities in a traditional way, since a prize is precisely something that is not achieved very often.  These are just suggestions, not orders. We can always decide what amounts we are going to give.

I suppose 100 is a good barrier, but other users may find that amount excessive. I think the best thing is for other users to give their opinion, if they don't say anything about it, you can maintain that 100 barrier.

I would have support 100, but there are a lot of members who are not very active and did not earn too much karma. But they are somewhat active and often contribute. Many thanks to Royse and mixero team for their support here on the forum. Anyways this forum award firstly needs to be more visible. So in that case I suggest that admin somehow be pins it at the top so it would be easier for people to toggle over  to plus it would make it more visible.

Nevertheless a new thread should be created for voting only and this particular thread should be for discussions concerning the award only this would make everything more organised. Mixero can throw in a nice prize pool as we do have very useful members here. Besides everyone would be happy to find out about their interest plus judging from mixero's contest I bet they'll deliver.

I don`t think karma award is a good idea imo.

This really depends on the budget, but Mixero is the one who has it (possibly you as the manager of their marketing activities).

I would only suggest more prizes, even smaller ones so that more members are included in the contest. And of course, enough time so that most users could be informed about the contest and possibly participate.
