We are excited to announce the Altcoinstalks Community Awards, an event that will help us wrap up 2024. This event is a great opportunity to show appreciation to those special people who help make this forum better, and we hope it becomes a tradition! Voters Receive Prizes!

       What prizes await the winners?

This year, icopress and babo made sure that this event also had material value. Whale.io acted as a sponsor, allocating 10 prizes of $50 each, which will be credited to the winners' Whale accounts. Once the votes are counted, a large-scale lottery will be launched to determine the winners.

       How it works?

Within 40 days from the publication of the thread, a public vote will be opened, in which any active user can participate. Who will be among the winners in each respective category depends only on your choice. Vote for yourself if you want, but If you do not have an explanation for why the person deserves to be nominated, your vote is guaranteed to not be counted.

• In each category you can vote for no more than 3 users / projects. ➥ Note.
• You must briefly explain why you are nominating someone. ➥ Note.
• To vote you must have 50 earned karma points.
  

	Custom title	Description of the Nomination
	Forum Hero	The award is given to the informal leader! This man has dedicated many years to serving the community and left a lasting legacy, a man whose name embodies the true spirit of altcointalk.
	Altcointalk Ninja	The award is presented to the participant whose name symbolizes trust and wisdom. There have always been users on the forum who stand out from the crowd with their writing style, those whose activity seems omnipresent, and those without whom it is impossible to imagine the forum.
	Bit Geek	The award is given to the participant who you think is the most knowledgeable and tech-savvy. Tell us who you know who is extremely passionate about cryptocurrency, who can easily explain nuances you didn't know about, or who has an analytical mind.
	Best Project	We are talking about a business or any project presented on Altcointalk.
	Custom Hero	You can vote for moderators, president, senators, or anyone with another custom title. We want to know who the community considers a role model, someone who consistently demonstrates endless enthusiasm. Forum members should know their heroes!

What i mean, is the descriptions that can be entered on the thread too since i guess poll has limited characters to enter(?).

Also, not all members here have an account on bitcointalk or updated on the recent updates there so i guess its considerable?

ninja - There have always been users on the forum who stand out from the crowd in writing style and objectivity, those whose activity seems omnipresent and those without whom you cannot imagine Bitcointalk.

geek - Tell us which of your acquaintances is passionate about Bitcoin to the extreme, who can easily explain to you such nuances that you did not even know about or who simply chose a ASIC for your grandmother.

antihero - Even "evil" has its own principles, so such a person is capable of anything, even if it does not benefit him.

golden - There have always been users on the forum who stand out from the crowd in writing style and objectivity, those whose posts are always pleasant to read, and discussions with them bring satisfaction.

I am just replying about the badged being unique every year.

I think it is common in games from Blizzard, like Wow, etc.

I don't think this is discouraging for newcomers imo. It is a way to award people from being active in an specific year.

After reading the threads (I have already voted) and speaking with Babo, to whom I thank this initiative, I would like to say the following.

Winners will also earn an amount of Karma, to be determined. (100?, 75?...).

Winners will receive forum tokens that I will send myself, of the points (544,096 right now) that I got by posting on the forum. The amount could be divided equally, for example.

There is no problem with badges. The duration of the badges on the winners' profile, how long would they last?. Annual until the next awards, I guess.

I am at your disposal for anything you need.

Personally, I think the winner would already got enough karma for their posts. I don't think given karma bombs would be so good... specially so high amounts ..

Well, that depends on what you interpret as enough Karma. What amount is enough according to you?. I'm asking you so we can think of more things to give to the winners.

Quite an interesting initiative babo. I will suggest that the badge number (as in years) can be changed yearly if the person wins it again for the second or fourth time consecutively. And also, it will be very nice if there'll be a thread for those who has won the title, which could serve as a follow up.

I see it as a beauty contest type initiative
in Italy they vote for Miss Italia and the winner is reported over the years
Miss Italy 2024 and so on
in my opinion it is much more convenient and you understand better when you have won and you have been voted for

I like the idea of "golden member" because it is close to the goal of AltcoinsTalks for a friendly crypto forum. If allowed, I suggest changing the name of this award if it will be selected: AltcoinsTalks friendly member.

Regarding the rewards: Karma and ALTT are indeed attractive. Additionally, I hope that we will have more rewards such as BTC and top coins (ETH, BNB, XRP...) from our sponsors (Mixers and rich members).
