All this is no different from the banks or the pharma industry or whatever else, this is lobby and using government money to enrich some individuals, nothing more.

Regardless of it becoming a pump and dump scheme, people will enjoy this ride. We are back to the wild west again which if there are just ICOs today where exchanges are going to list after the sale, I think we will be seeing a lot of investors taking profit every time.

I feel that US is big enough to differentiate between bitcoin and shitcoins, but it obvious that they don't. Maybe, because the President of the US himself is a shitcoin owner. I pity for US  because they are only trying to hype these shitcoins, and shitcoins will always remain a shitcoin. Probably they want to make something centralized as the next bitcoin so they can have most of the circulation under control which they will use as a tool to dominte the world like they usually do. But they past that time period, bitcoin grown too much and it's not really something that can be replaced even if US president is making a move for that.

TBH, I'm leaning more towards the fact that he just wants to pump the market hence, the announcement. In reality, it isn't that easy for an asset to be a strategic reserve asset, let alone these altcoins. Bitcoin should be enough IMO, and before Trump say things like this, he must do it with Bitcoin first.

the recent development of XRP is also the development of ADA. i think their RLUSD will first be used in Cardano network, thats what the info i learn from an influencer. i couldn't be sure if its true but he been following ADA for awhile. most influencer in ADA does have that delegation node or whatever they call it.

I haven't heard from Gary's fate, is he really kicked by Trump or is it still in the process?
And now Bitcoin is like Trump's pet dog, it can be used for anything, it can be controlled and it is very easy to do a pump dump, but it certainly will not last in the long term.

But if Trump's policy on Bitcoin is good enough and really becomes a supporter of Bitcoin, the trend will really change.

(c)  The Secretary of the Treasury and the Secretary of Commerce shall develop strategies for acquiring additional Government BTC provided that such strategies are budget neutral and do not impose incremental costs on United States taxpayers.  However, the United States Government shall not acquire additional Stockpile Assets other than in connection with criminal or civil asset forfeiture proceedings or in satisfaction of any civil money penalty imposed by any agency without further executive or legislative action.

Essentially, no taxpayers' money will be used to purchase bitcoins and the reserve will be primarily fuelled by bitcoins seized.
The price dipped to below $84k but bounced back to the ~$90k range later on.

There have often been various factors that make the crypto market pump and dump and this is very natural. House Republicans released a budget plan Wednesday that sets the stage for advancing many of President Donald Trump's top domestic priorities, providing for up to $4.5 trillion in tax cuts and a $4 trillion increase in the debt limit so the U.S. can continue financing its bills.

He is cutting 40 billion from USAID, which mainly goes to American business paying for stuff for poor countries, and he approved an increase of the debt ceiling higher than 4 trillion!

This whole thing is really hilarious, so the US pays American workers, american companies 10 million to build a tank, money that stays in the US, that tank is either rusting in the desert or being shipped to Ukraine, now by Trump and his dumb mentally challenged followers by not sending 100 of those tanks in Ukraine he is cutting the spending by 1 billion and saving the US GDP a bilion.

A few months ago I remember us discussing the possible store of value, and the conclusion most people came to was to use the BTC they already have, after all it's the easiest way to have BTC without having to spend anything extra

This fact alone guarantees that the BTC won't be sold, and possible new seizures won't either, which makes them yet another BTC holder among the whales, since they have something around US$ 17.5 billion in BTC

I thought with this, the crypto market would be able to skyrocket rapidly, but it turns out there are some apartments that are indeed quite a concern. And finally, the crypto market is still like this. There is indeed an increase, but not as significant as I thought.

But, it's okay.

The pump and dump scheme will continue, who knows until when. But, well, let's just enjoy this flow.
