That's why, it's important for a person to know all these things before they start doing it.

For new altcoin projects, I totally agree that what you said about being very risky is a reality and cannot be avoided. That's why many people really don't like every new project that appears, because it will never give a good contribution to its holders. Maybe until now, and it hasn't been able to return to its glory days.
But there are altcoins that have been around for a long time and, until now, are included in potential coins and I think it's okay if you want to invest in them because, so far, they have made a good contribution and have proven to be very good for their holders.

Or if you are going to look at this way, the altcoin market is already saturated, that's why new projects that might come in doesn't have anything to offer except for pump and ump.

I think ethereum, even though it is not doing well at the moment, still provides good promise for its holders because it is a potential altcoin and until now, it can last a long time.

Depend on personality investment way want to invest for short or long term, most of short term investment make investing at altcoin because have target taking profit for short term but if want to be long term investment bitcoin the best way and no doubt with bigger profitable earn.

The guarantee is the aspect of taking note on because Bitcoin is the most realistic coin ever in the market, is an investment were somebody can go without thinking that the coin might be collapse in the future, so with Bitcoin I see that those things are not a concern to be worried about because if someone has a good capital or portfolio they are very certain of a massive returns, already companies has invested a lot and has already made a lot even when they have not hold enough. On the contrary that might be what a normal coin will lack to have.

Very few altcoins fail to maintain long term value and within that, some altcoins fall and die. Many such altcoins move in waves that last only 5-8 months.

Yeah, that is why they are called pump and dump coins, they pump and when they do, a few people or their creators make money, and then they dump, and then the majority lose most of their investments. This happens most of the time, but you still get people investing in new projects, in the hope of being lucky, even though the chances are low.

I am not expecting any good performance from Etherum price overtime, because it seems that as time passes by Etherum will depreciate in value because it's only of the shittest coin so far after it was converted from PoW to PoS. Go amd check the price history of Etherum since 2021 till date, you will understand what I mean.

You’re right in highlighting Bitcoin’s strong market presence. Bitcoin has successfully positioned itself as the strongest digital asset anyone can hold but you know there are also retail investors who can’t go in big as their capital is low, you can’t compare their ROI to that of big companies that have huge capital.

This is the reason most retailers opt for the altcoins more as they tend to make more profits quicker than when they invest in Bitcoin.

What key factors do you analyze when assessing the long-term viability of an altcoin project?

Actually the first factor is the team behind the initiative if they are experienced and transparent it offers more confidence. Then i look at the functionality of the token and whether it solves a real need or merely hype. I also check the tokenomics like supply distribution and inflation rate. Lastly the community and development activity indicate a lot about how strong and committed the project is in the long term

Where I mostly look out for, when investing in altcoin is how long have it stayed in the market. Have it experience the bear market, how did it survive it. Not all altcoin have I seen that come out strong when face the bear market to enter the bull  market. Many altcoins have diminish in price after the witnessing the bear market, before the bull run comes.

Exactly, not all altcoins will be able to survive especially during the bearish era. There are even many top old coins that used to be very big and popular, but unfortunately were unable to maintain their position during the bearish era, and in the end there was an extraordinary dump in their prices. Maybe for now, there are still some that survive, but after seeing the price, market cap, and also the volume in the market, it's really a shame, because the drop is so far. and even, we may consciously think that it will be very difficult to be able to come back again. yes, at least being able to survive with a fairly good price is already very grateful, but unfortunately, there are also many that are really destroyed and can no longer survive in the market, and are abandoned even by their developers.

There are too many new altcoins, it is so hard to find a new altcoin that has a use case. There are so many scam coins and many waiting to rugpull you, take note that you can also do your research about an altcoin project only to be disappointed in the end. I think for people who like to invest in altcoin, they should stick to older coins that have been around for sometime.

People should always be at alert of any new thing that they are introducing to them which they seems not to understand, they should always make their own research, investigate the matter well before they can decide if they will continue with it or not, this will be of use or help to them to prevent them from unwanted circumstances.

It is natural that not all projects will be successful because hundreds of projects are being launched in the world almost every day and among them there are many projects ranging from scammers to legitimate ones that fail in the market due to weak strategies and teams. So we must be careful when thinking about investing in altcoins.
There are many projects that cannot be successful even if launched during the bull season, so when using the project, we must know the potential of the backers and road map of that project as well as their team, and then we must invest the amount that we can afford to lose.
