Do you still believe in an altseason in 2025?

I have posted about this times without numbers that 2024 is the altseason. The way those coins pumped in 2024 indicates that it was the altseason. Do not expect much from altcoins even if bitcoin get to all-time high next in 2025.

I think now it will be really hard to see those kind of alt season we had seen before in the past bull run in this particular one, I am forced to believe this your opinion about the alt season already happened last year. Because base on trend if we actually look at the market now I think there is ji time left for it to happen, the alt season only happens after bitcoin has started pumping and stopped to pump and then the dominance shifts to alts like Ethereum but looking at this prolonged correction in the market this year I strongly doubt if there will be any time for such again

Yes, not to rub it in with altcoin investors, ETH is -66% from it's last all time high, and that was three years ago. While XRP didn't have it's all time high last 2021. BNB has it's all time high like Bitcoin a couple of months ago, but right now it's down. Same with SOL -55%.

So it's very hard to see specially the king of altcoins which is ETH. All we can do is just hope that at the end of the year, maybe, just maybe they will have their own bull run so  that at least their investors will still make some money.

It's over, don't expect more, because we have seen a bullish moment for altcoins a few months ago ... we have passed the altseason, although it did not present anything very big with its bullishness, but it was altseason .... although BTC dominance continues to rise, expecting to alternate with altcoins, it makes no sense ... altseason has really happened and we must be able to accept that the price is not as crazy as in the previous cycle ...

If you are still waiting for altseason because of the holding you have, there is no other way but to hold it longer ... considering that altcoins are not performing well at the moment ...Some altcoins are starting to show their bearish phase, so this is what makes investors have more confidence in Bitcoin for now.

I don't think it ended because the market will respond overall to the BTC pump - and it should happen, according to what I hear from different sources, through 2025, when there are no obstacles to crush.

I still have a feeling that there is something in the end of the year or the last quarter maybe an Altseason or both having bullrun with Bitcoin. Investors still believe that there is an upcoming Altseason though I can't go with the flow since I don't have funds to buy but yeah there could be a chnace that Alts will skyrocket later this year.

Try and go back in price and see what happened in the past. If there would be a bull run this time, it will be more for bitcoin. Altcoins may rise but it can not be how they rose in 2024 but a little. And do you know what? I hope some people will not be greedy because after the bull run, bear market may come immediately in a way the altcoins price will fall more than their recent prices.

Belief can lead you down some dusty trails to Blind Decision Gulch, just look at all those folks who put their faith in Sam and FTX – ouch! Me? I prefer to ride with history, and history's whisperin' that this bull ain't done buckin' yet. So, I'm gonna sit tight on my tokens, no stampede sell-offs for this cowboy!

Like what group are we talking about here? Some people are balls deep into meme tokens and will try their best to shill it to newbies. No obstacles? Perhaps you should tell them to stop living in a fairy tale. There will always be 'forces' that will negate the pump of crypto.

It is tricky for altcoins right now, i don't think there is going to be an altcoin season this year. The entire global market is still suffering from the effects of Trumps tarrif war, even BTC may not see a serious bull run this year again, so that is the reason why i am not hopeful about an altcoin season anytime soon.

Tariffs were put at stop for 90 days or so, we may see the market resurge during this year, but if not - we still need just to hodl and see results in our portfolios eventually. That's the way to go.

Well, your excellency sir, I think it makes no sense to try to predict the unpredictable, right now, altseason is absolutely unpredictable if we are to be sincere to ourselves, and I personally do not think we will see altseason any time soon except some thing of great significance happens in the Altcoin ecosystem that caused alot of big investors to start investing in Altcoins heavily.

So for now, I think bitcoin will do well, but we should not expect any Altseason anytime soon, from how things seems right now in the market, it may likely take several months or years before we see any major Altcoin bull run again, so let's just allow things to develop and hope that when the altseason finally happens, it will be worth it for each and everyone of us.

Most of the time, altcoins will go up late compared to Bitcoin. I mean is that, when Bitcoin goes up, altcoins tends to go up as well, but it will happen weeks after Bitcoin goes up.

Do I still believe that an altseason will happen this year? Yes, but it will be focused on the top altcoins only. I mean coins that has a utility will be the ones that will go up this year. Coins like Ethereum, Solana, Ripple, some exchange tokens, some hyped tokens like the RWA's, those Layer 2 tokens. Those utility tokens are the ones that I believe will pump.

On the flip side though, I don't think that it will be as high as what we saw in the first weeks of the month. We saw Ethereum at $4,000, and Solana at $290. I don't think that it will touch that price when altcoins goes up in price this year.

There are many doubts about Altcoin season because we all see the bad price movement of Altcoin lately, this is natural because the season should have arrived. If a meme coin, I think there will be a surprise every time, but I actually expect more than that. Top Altcoins should be able to reach new ATH again.

Of course and I believe in that, as long as my knowledge is that once Bitcoin really sees the New ATH again, there will definitely be an altcoins season that will follow it.
As far as I know, this is what always happens in the cycle of bitcoin and altcoins.

No one knows when this will happen, so it is likely that this alts season will probably happen next year, around the first quarter or second quarter,
or it could also be the last quarter of this year of 2025.

What they are saying above was that the cycle has ended. If there is an altcoin season, it could have happened the time when BTC rise after the halving. Altcoins would have also be going up because altcoins are priced in BTC.

But who knows I could be wrong because I have just noticed that if there will be a bear market all the crypto will be dropping as well and most altcoins with usecase only inside their community will be doomed.

However if the bull market pursues, maybe there will be another altcoin season.

          -     In my personal opinion, mate, I think that before we return to the bear market, there is still a high chance that there will be another rally in bitcoin to break its last ATH of $109k and once it breaks, it is very possible that it will go straight to $130k-$150k or maybe even more.

And when this happens, it is likely that the next one will be the altcoins season that we have been waiting for, and I hope this happens so that at least the time of waiting and saving for what we have done with dca in the cryptos that we have accumulated since before up to now will bear fruit.

A lot of people think so. This is why I am also not sure when the bear market will happen and then there are stories also that will make us believe crypto will rise come pare to the stocks and bonds because China is selling their treasuries and USD is dumping which the safest assets these days are Bitcoin and all other cryptocurrencies.

Maybe this is true because of geopolitics conflict these days.

There was a 90-day pause on the tariff, but it's still like a hanging Damocles for many countries, and it has an effect in every market.
Trump is playing a dangerous game, and that 90-day halt will give him all the advice he needs on how he will proceed. I just hope he gets the best advice and stops this tariff war and be moderate on his America First ideology. He is making America the villain of the world with his ultra ideology.
