when do you “refill” your budget

When I have money on the side that I won't use, I make sure it's extra and I don't need it. It's best to have a schedule when depositing as well, so you wouldn't be lacking in one if you ever gamble. Like a DCA but for gambling lol.

I see people say weekly and I’m kinda concerned if that doesn’t make them more prone to addiction? Because no matter how you’ll look at it gambling everyday exposes one to gambling addiction even if you’re gambling for fun or not; you’ll most likely want to just open your account and gamble for a bit if you’re the “everyday type” and that among the reasons why I don’t like refilling my budget steadily and just wait till I want to gamble before I make any deposit.

Addiction is something that builds up gradually - you won’t be able to tell that you’re getting addicted to something - it might feel as if it’s normal and that you’re just enjoying it just as you’ve always did meanwhile in reality you’re getting addicted to it and now you’re always looking for how to go into your gambling account.

That daily gambling whether it’s for just a few hours or even minutes isn’t really healthy to be honest — if you take breaks in between the weeks then it would be a lot better than having to log into your account every single day to gamble.

There is no certain time to refill my gambling budget because I'm not a regular gambler. Sometimes it can be monthly but it can can weekly in another time. It depends on my mood and my spare time. I only want to gamble when I've spare time, I'm not a typical person who wants to gamble during my busy time.

I think there is no much difference. Both can be good, but we must be disciplined and commit with the limitation of the budget. When the weekly or monthly budget is over, we don't try to add it more.

Another thing that came to my mind was, those who refill their budget every week how do they manage to know what money that they won’t be needing in the next few months or weeks - to me weekly refilling makes room for mistakes with funds because in gambling we are always advices to gamble with what we can afford to lose and going into your gambling account on a weekly basis makes it more difficult to follow that principle except the gambler is really rich that they don’t need a huge sum of their money for anything else in their life.

Well that would actually work and somewhat effective to avoid overspending or losing more on our gambling activities. Only few gamblers understand this because majority has this greed in mind because they want to win more that is why they keep on chasing.

Whether daily, weekly or monthly, you just have to stick to the one that best fits your finances. I may be budgeting it weekly and be saving way among the person budgeting for monthly. The difference in budgeting doesn’t really matter, what matter the most is that it’s convenient for you and you’re making the money or better still risking the minimum you can in a bet which will not affect your overall finances. Budgeting is good because it will not allow you to make silly mistakes that will make you temper with your most needed money for your day in day out activities. Stick to a budget after creating one, it’ll make you not regret overall in your journey during gambling.

Once in a while, I don't set any specific budget just only for gambling, I do keep aside some for my needs such as entertainment and if there's something left which will go to the gambling and when I do feel lucky there will be some or when I have a game that I want to try there goes some....

I fully understand that there was a concept suggesting that it is possible to avoid big losses most of the time, and this has a relation with the extent of control over personal egoism. Often as one more win will set things equal it is the very win that pushes things way out of balance. I guess it becomes very hard to get out of the game with high expectations. And it is not because you are greedy but due to the fact that you feel that the time is opportune for you to take what has been taken away from you. That is the most common entice in gambling. I think that if the game is regarded as something that should have an ending, people will not find themselves in the same position as those who need it more and more.

I am very flexible when it comes to budgeting my gambling activities; sometimes I do it monthly and sometimes weekly. It really depends on my cash flow, but I usually do it weekly.
i just feel that I'm spending a lot when I refill it monthly compared on weekly, where I can
go less and besides, its hard to control when you do it monthly.
