You are right that waiting itself does nothing, if no new buyers arrive that would want your tokens.
Trading at least increases some metrics that can be used to say that the crypto-world is still alive.
Both will be useless if no real use cases arrive. The media wont pick up on traders, they care about successful companies and products.

This is probably your first correction and market decline. You probably did not see how the top 5 coins just died because of their weakness, after the correction.

What exactly currency do you mean? I am already interested in crypto for some time but I am not sure if we think about the same. However, I must agree that sudden enrichment thank bull run may not be possible. And just as the trader reflex is important, so is patience. But not passivity. I sometimes traded part of my FuturoCoin and I made some profit on quick flips.

I'll continue holding my coins. I believe there will be a big rise in this year. So, it is the reason why I still continue holding and not selling the coins for now. Even if it has a risk, we should make a choice whether to hold or sell.

This is something that a lot of experienced traders say that holding does not mean just keeping our assets but changing them to increase the revenue. So, as I mentioned in my previous post - patience is not passivity. But on the other hand, as you all rightly stated - now whole market is red.

Most times, exchanges that have their coins, tend to understand a way to  maintain the value of their coin, however the sole issue they will have is that the commercialism volume and there are ways in which to travel that.
I have have conjointly seen some coins that don't seem to be exchange connected, nonetheless they need been ready to management their costs.

I think that during the 2019 there will be enough events that could flow fresh money in the crypto market and therefore prices could increase.
Bakkt is one of these events and will start at the end of January.
