Etheruem or Ripple?

Ethereum is a decentralised cryptocurrency whereas Ripple is centralized. Ripple is more of a payment system. Ethereum on the other hand has many different use. With Ethereum 2.0 things will be very different.

Ripple supply is very high therefore the chance of it's price going up up is very dim. Ethereum on the other hand did reach $1k in 2017 and can again reach that level.

Hence if you think about profit and decentralisation then you should invest in Ethereum.

Absolutely Ethereum is a gem and how can you forget about tokenization platform ans smart contracts that eth provides, ethereum's ecosystem is truly un matched.

ETH and XRP are two completely different coins. ETH is many times more interesting because it has smart contract technology and you can issue different tokens on its blockchain. Also I like that a lot of ETH is not concentrated in one hand but XRP is very much concentrated in coin developers

It must be admitted that currently there is a discussion about ethereum, which charges quite a large fee, but for investment, I am sure that there are still many who persist with ethereum even though the fees charged are very surprising.
even if there is, I am more inclined to determine that the chainlink is actually very good because of a quite sharp increase compared to the initial publication.

You are true if prices eth pump, the gas will also rise this incident just as the same in years  2017 gas eth really expensive at the time and now it happened again in 2020 the price of gas reached 239 gwei a rise drastically I think this is deliberate because already 3 years of concerns about the cost of gas is still the same as ever ethereum and XRP so different in terms of gas and the delivery is quite different XRP faster and cheaper.

Personally I am in favour of ripple , beacause ripple is avalible at cheap price in this time . Their is higher chance that ripple touch 1$ in future . Recently Etherium took bullrun now Etherium is tradable on 400$ in market .

I think ripple will soon replace ethereum if they don't do something to reduce the current fees. With slow sending but up to 5$. A number too imaginary. With Ripple, the transaction speed is significantly faster than that of Ethereum, furthermore their transaction fees start from just $0.05

In my view it is better to buy ethereum rather than ripple, because ethereum has potential and other altcoin works on so Ethereum is best for long term.
