No Ethereum can't replace or beat ripple (XRP) because Ethereum is in 3rd position and ripple is in 2nd ranked. But nowadays Ethereum having some compitetors Ethereum classic, Ethereum Fiat and Ethereum classic vision but ripple have no competitors.

I think It is possible mate.  Ethereum and XRP is good coin.  I believe ethereum will overtake XRP again,  because ethereum is still the King of ICO now.  It is my opinion.
