Usually when a team has a lot of star players it's like that, they compete to show who is the best and in the end they forget that they are carrying the name of a team or country that they should be prioritizing. but in England's case, I see the coach is having problems.
It's going to either be a blessing or a curse when a team has too many talented players, because finding a manager to properly manage these players can become the very first challenge for the team. There are three instances of teams that are suffering from too many talented players at the moment.
#1 being Brazil, which, although they have very valuable players, still finds it difficult to play together as a team, and because of that, they are not still favorites to win the Copa America that is ongoing, even though they are still in it.
#2 is Nigeria in Africa, with many talented players but still struggling to win games together.
and the #3 is England; they have struggled all through this competition; they were lucky in their last game; they will not continue and will not always be lucky. I do not see them as finalists in the Euro's, Guehi who has been one of their best defenders is suspended in their next game, it could be a problem.
Yes, you are right, if they can use it well, then they will be very good and strong, but if they are not good at using it it will make them no better than a team with an ordinary player composition.

You mentioned a good example of a team with star-studded players. And I will give an example of how a team has succeeded in utilizing the composition of the famous players they have, for example Spain with its squad which managed to win the World Cup in 2010.

EURO 2024
I didn't really watch it, besides not having time it didn't inspire me at all
If you have not watched the Euro competition before or have not been following up with the games, today is a good time to start because it is the quarterfinals, and the competition has just become more tense.
In this competition and stage, Germany plays against Spain, and it is difficult to tell who the winner will be.

Later today, Portugal will know if it is the end of the road for them as they play France.

Hot games in the line- up.

We are over 23 minutes into the game already, I only started watching from about 14 minutes after the game had started, as I was all caught up watching Alcaraz vs Tiafoe tennis match and lost track of time. Anyways, Germany have been slightly the better team since I started watching, they've created the most chances and were very good in possession of the ball and not giving it away any easily, this is going to be a really tough match, just as it's been hyped to be.

The match is ongoing and it is on extra time as the match ended in 1-1 draw after 90 minutes. Dani Olmo scored an early goal on 6 minutes of the second half and Wirtz was able to equalize the goal on the 89th minutes to bring back hope for Germany. After Spain scored, they became weak and Germany took over the game and pressured till the goal was equalized. Germany have a good chance of winning this match and qualifying to tje next round because Yamal, Morata and Williams are out of the match.

ESP 1-1 GER.

Spain vs Portugal - the first half was a bit dull towards the second half there was some excitement after Olmo scored for Spain as well as Germany towards the end of the game in the 89th minute Wirtz scored to equalize.

The bitterness that Germany had to feel in extra time in the second half they had to concede a goal that was very unlikely to return to equalize even though there were several opportunities that did not become goals can be said to be unlucky.

Now we will watch Portugal vs France no less exciting....

I think sadness has taken over the whole of Dutch this night. It was actually heartbreaking that they have to leave the stage at that very crucial moment. I actually know that one of the countries will go home tonight but I didn't expect it to happen in such a dramatic and high voltage manner. It would have been fine that it ended in the normal match or there was a goal in one half of the extra time and not to wait till 119th minute to end in such a way. I wish the Germans would understand that this is football and bear with the situation. Let us see what France and Portugal have to give us. I believe this will also be another fascinating match. Sitting comfortably to view the match without missing any scene.

Losing on penalties would have been better than losing in this dramatic fashion, and it's true that all the fans were waiting for the shootout moment to happen but it didn't as Spain surprised with the header.

There is a sense of angry disappointment for sure, it's part of the entertainment but the disappointment will be very deep.

Yup still watching the Portugal vs France match while opening this forum. Lol

Yea, you rightly understood me... It would have been better they were exited from the penalty shootout and not the late minute extra time lose. It is painful to every other people let alone the host. Germany were honestly prepared for this, but it is unfortunate they have to say bye at this point. Unlike other competitions they don't give their best. In thus competition, they have been giving their best from day one till this moment. I have a strong feeling that Spain who eliminated them should reach the finals because the meeting was just like a final before finals.

German hearts are broken yet again in the dying minutes of Extra Time, Mikel Merino's header sends La Roja through to the semi-finals. Unlucky Germany  :(
Spain deserved it, When they got the chance, they took it. Germany missed their chances.
And the 2 brilliant teams balanced out the shittiness of Anthony Taylor and produced a brilliant match.
Congrats to Spain...

What a tough match. So many yellow cards during the match. Carvajal got a red card, fortunately it's in the last minute. Wow, this was exactly like an early final watching Spain vs Germany.

Congratulations to Spain,
Great performance

And for Germany, this team exactly did their best, did more offensive, although Spain had a more effective attack.

This is the first time that a host will go home in the quarter finals and those did not speak good about Germany. They tried their best but it was not enough to see them through to the semifinals. In football there must be a winner and Spain happens to be that tonight with a sting minutes goal which left Germany in a devastating state till this moment. Spain will play with the winner between Portugal vs France.

We have another extra time between France and Portugal.
There was so much potential with France team before, but during this whole EURO they didnt show anything, and I was not impressed with the way Portugal plays with Ronaldo.
Congrats to Spain for winning against Germany in great match.
Odds for Spain to win EURO is 2.75 now: https://sportsbet.io/sports/soccer/international/european-championship/outrights

Back to watching the Portugal vs France match which went into extra time until there were no goals from either side...

Will this extra time be a surprise where they score or will it be another penalty shootout for Portugal?

The two matches we watched longer, it's already late at night in my place, almost morning. ;D

As I expected, my favourite to win this year's trophy, Spain, did not let down.
I think Germany was the toughest team out of all the other remaining ones, but Spaniards managed to get through them, and should be much easier from here.

Still a goalless draw in Portugal Vs France, I hope Ronaldo and his team will send the African team home. But let the better team win. I expect to see penalties here.
