Casimero is back!!, a impressive win, knocking down Sanchez multiple times until the referee stop and deemed that Sanchez is done because his legs are no longer there after the second knockdown.

So finally, Casimero was able to crack someone as 122 lbs but not sure if Inoue is still interested on him. Casimero though can challenge rank fighter now at this division, I want him and Nery to fight, it surely be a fire as both is heavy handed. Or any other champion here, including Murodjon Akhmadaliev or Sam Goodman. At least a good name next so that he can maintain that hype around his name.

That was his last fight under the Treasure Boxing Promotion as he only signed a three fight contract under them so before picking someone to fight next he needs a good promoter or even stay with TBP.

Casimero had a good fight, benefiting from Saul Sanchez’s aggressive style, which suits his brawling approach. However, I was disappointed that he didn’t make weight. He clearly needs a professional strength and conditioning coach to address this issue.

And now it is reported that he will get a 6 month suspension of ban from fighting in Japan because he didn't make the weight in the Sanchez fight. And since this is his last fight under Treasury, not sure if they will extend his contract base on what they see here.

That's the dilemma for Casimero now, even an impressive wins, he still has a lot of issues to face. And now the question if, are there any promoters willing to take him when they know that he has history of not making the desired weight? It's really going to affect him because of that precedence in him.

Yup, big problem for Casimero if he still wants to fight but if he decides to retire early then all of this problem will be gone hehe. Lack of discipline on his part really affects his conditioning. If only he hires a professional strength and conditioning coach, maybe they have already meet Naoya Inoue and not Paul Butler that fights Inoue. The future for Quadro Alas is uncertain with one year suspension from Japan Boxing Commission and no promoter as of now.

Maybe just a couple of years of fighting, and then he has no choice but to retire, hopefully he had save enough for himself as he is really flamboyant and giving everyone around him money.

I thought it was just 6 months suspension by the Japanese commission? But I do agree, he still has a lot more problems now, he did show overweight which is a big disappointment from everyone, including his Japanese promoter, and it just shows that he doesn't have the discipline. And now that he doesn't have a manager, what will be Casimero's future? If only he can swallow his pride and go back to MP, that could be a bold and big move for him to still continue with his boxing career although I'm not seeing him at age 35, despite this huge win, to become big in boxing. Maybe just a couple of years of fighting, and then he has no choice but to retire, hopefully he had save enough for himself as he is really flamboyant and giving everyone around him money.

Initially, I believed the suspension was only for six months, but it was later extended to one year. The best course of action for him would be to replace his brother as his trainer and conditioning coach, return to MP Promotions, and humbly seek forgiveness from Sean Gibbons. This way, he could potentially salvage the remaining years of his career. Given his current condition, he cannot continue fighting at 40 years old.

Casimero has a lot of pride and he will look like desperate if he do that, I don't think he will part ways with his brother; he has a lot of attachment to his brother and to his family, Since he still has it, his promoters can find a way to get him a title shot and you are right about the conditioning coach; he badly need one.
With Casimero's win,, anything and everything is possible but one more blunder in his weight and his career as a boxer could be over, the boxing organizarions are very strict on fighters who cannot manage their weight.

Oh, that's too bad if the suspension is going to be one year for Casimero, so he has to sit for at least a year and can't fight in Japan. And I heard as well that his Japanese promoter has extended his contract? Is this true? So if this is the case then he can't find a fight in Japan for Casimero and they have to revert back in fighting in the Philippines. Although there could be offer in some places as well as we all know that Inoue is a well traveled boxer. But as you have said, time is running out for him as he is nearing that phase when boxers started to decline and there career are going to down because of their age.

It's actually good to see boxing governing bodies seriously take the issue of missing weight. As for Casimero, true to his Angas ng Pinas image isn't he? Like he doesn't give a f**k ;D Anyway, I think some promotion will still try to pick him up because his last fight was still impressive. It would have been a different story if he lost or failed to win convincingly.

Yes, it's the Japanese Boxing Commission that put down that heavy punishment on him, a 1 year ban from fighting in their home country. Yeah, he doesn't care, but it really affected his career for now. So imagine if there is one good Japanese fighter right now that is willing to fight him, then that fight is not going to happen and he has to wait for a full year. So it's really very important for a boxer to really make the weight and we have seen throughout history that a title fights become non-title fight and then fighters losing their belts on the scale.

Usually Jap fighters will really be that fighting on their home country not unless if the fight would be adjusted or put up on international or other countries which its unlikely but it would really be depending on the agreement on the said fight. If he's really that being banned for 1 year then it could be still possible to fight other opponents on other locations on which i dont really see
this much of an issue but the thing i do really believe on what on other peoples minds is about having that Inoue vs Casimero fight and thats why they are really that frustrated with this news.

Fans are worried about Japanese fighter possible one year ban especially because it might affect Inoue vs Casimero fight. Even if fighter can still compete abroad ban could delay or cancel this highly anticipated matchup. Fans have been eagerly waiting for this fight and uncertainty is frustrating.

This fight is special because it brings together two top fighters and their matchup could change the boxing division. Ban affects not just fighter but also boxing fans worldwide. We are excited about this fight and any obstacles are disappointing. If fight is delayed or cancelled it will be big letdown for fans. We hope ban terms will allow fight to happen.

Casimero has landed a few days ago in the Philippines and he was given a hero's welcome in his hometown. Just a few stops in Japan for him. And regarding his suspension, here is the official list that we got from Japan commission,

https://jbc.or.jp/wp_jbc/wp-content/uploads/2024/10/syouhei241016.pdf

Unfortunately, I can't speak Japanese so not sure how long is the suspension although many news outlet had already reported it to be 1 year. Although Casimero didn't like what local GMA news reported it,

https://www.facebook.com/photo/?fbid=554141437302765

He was just pissed that inside of the news channel reporting his victory in Japan, instead of congratulating him first. And that time, maybe Casimero hasn't heard the news yet and not yet official with regards to his ban.

It's more than that, as  I have said, boxers need to make weight during the fight night, no excuses. If he chooses to pay fines that is ok, however, doesn't look that great if you asked me. Because that's one criteria of a great boxer, they will always or should always make the weight. And that is the very reason why there are weight classes, so that it will be fair for all parties. So yes, if he is not able to fight in Japan there are other places as well, like Saudi if his HE Turk is willing to take risk on smaller weight class. Or just go and fight in his native country the Philippines.

Making weight has been a problem for Team Casimero since he left MP Promotions and parted ways with Mamo Heredia, MPP’s strength and conditioning coach. As Casimero gets older and heavier, they need a good conditioning coach, but they underestimated this need, thinking they could handle it without any issues. Regarding the Saudi offer, I don’t think HE Turki will promote Casimero. It’s more likely that a smaller promoter in Saudi Arabia is what they meant when they mentioned taking the Saudi offer, not HE Turki.

Indeed, it will really be a shame for fighters not making weight as it really shows that Casimero doesn't have the discipline. It could be understandable if this is the first time. But it's not that's why there is no room for this kind of error on his side moving forward.

Yes, there are penalties here, but the good thing is that Casimero wins by a impressive knockout. But all we can say is that this should be the last time for him. He needs to have someone to monitor his weight and be professional on his next fight.

The good thing about the Sanchez fight was that it went ahead. However, if it had been a championship bout, Casimero would likely have been replaced, just as he was in his scheduled fight with Butler, where Sultan took his place. Casimero can’t afford to keep missing weight; he urgently needs to address this issue to avoid wasting his remaining years in boxing.
