Rumors and speculations are all we need to make a little rise in price  I do think it's real and we are going to have a better SEC chancellor, hopefully.

Very, basically, when facing a bullrun, then we need more good rumors and good news, whatever it is, we are looking forward to it. even Trump's inauguration, Elon Musk's inauguration with his new answer, or various big news from big countries like China and Russia, we hope for big good news, because it will definitely lead to an increase in crypto prices.

And regarding Gensler, it seems like he would rather resign first than be fired by Trump, at a cost, perhaps. haha
Whatever it is, the important thing is that he has nothing to do at the SEC and doesn't make crypto matters at the SEC any more complicated.

Yeah, I think Ethereum will have a better perfomance after bitcoin reaches the ATH of the cycle. When it cools down, Ethereum will reach it ATH again, like in previous cycles.

I think you over hyped who Gary Gensler is. He is not the president of United States but a SEC governor. If you see bitcoin price to continue to increase, it is not because Gary Gensler resigned or sacked. It is because we are in the bull time and in connection with Trump that won the election also.

It was Gary Gensler that accepted bitcoin ETF. We saw how the ETF sentiment also increased bitcoin price. Not that I am supporting the man but just implying how his resignation may not have effect on bitcoin price.

You are correct, the resignation of Gary Gensler will not have any impact on the crypto market, but I think Gary Gensler is just not crypto friendly, and besides approving the ETFs, he has made the crypto community doubtful of his policies which has not helped the crypto economy growth and further developments.
For example, the US incoming regime, headed by president elect, Donald Trump has some notable crypto economic plans, though this was a promise, but it is more likely that Donald Trump will implement this plans to enhance the crypto economy developments. I am sure that Gary Gensler knows that he has too many shortcomings as regards to cryptocurrency economy.

If Dan Gallagher announces that he will not accept the position of SEC Chairman, I would expect the most likely candidate to be securities attorney and cryptocurrency advocate Teresa Goody Guillen.

But of course there are other candidates, such as former Binance.US CEO Brian Brooks, former CFTC Chairman Chris Giancarlo, and SEC Commissioners Hester Peirce and Mark Uyeda.

Hopefully with Gary Gensler's resignation will make the crypto market better, because so far we have seen the SEC led by Gary seem to be inhibiting the growth of crypto. and we will see if Trump will have a good policy for crypto when he starts serving as US president.
We don't know who will replace Gary Gensler, I read the comments here there are several candidates. but actually the SEC will follow Trump's policies, so whoever replaces Gensler will always be in line with Trump's wishes for crypto growth in the US

To be fair to him, he's also done some good things going after fraudulent platforms  and also the ETF but I guess his performance throughout his term is a net negative for majority of the crypto users. For the Biden admin, maybe he's done well collecting money for them I personally don't like that he keeps expanding the scope of SEC's authority and declaring almost everything as a security.

We just have to wait for Bitcoin sideways and there will be altcoin season. At that time, the performance of most altcoins will really skyrocket, although it does not guarantee that it will be 100% of all altcoins, there must be some that don't, but at least what we hope for is that the top altcoins can skyrocket higher and pass the previous ATH. especially ETH, I personally also really hope for the price increase to exceed ATH, at least if it can reach $6k, it is very profitable, but at least for now, the first step is to reach the ATH first to be able to hope to exceed it.

Yes, we should wait and see what Trump will do after becoming US president, whether he will really keep his promise or just a campaign promise that will be forgotten after being elected. We heard that Trump will support Bitcoin and make the US a bitcoin center and replace Gary Gensler with a new official. Many complaints were conveyed to Donald Trump about Gary Gensler who was not wise and did not support the growth of crypto in the US. This is what made Trump make a statement that he would fire Gensler from the SEC, until Gary also made his own statement that he would resign from the SEC as of January next year. Gary has done a lot that has caused many people to dislike him. And what's more, it's very bad for the crypto world, we've heard about Binance and XRP.

Gensler not get space for Donald Trump government have promised previously before success become US president, Trump want to make crypto become friendly transaction in United State and we know Gensler have bad reputation with many cryptocurrency coins.
Now freedom for altcoin holder after Gensler resign from his position and at the future SEC Commission not have bad viewed with cryptocurrency any more.

As promised by Trump, he will kicked SEC Chairman Gary Gensler on the first day of his administration but since Gary has a fixed term until 2026 there can be a problem if he will insist to finish his term. I am also agree with your comment. Because we know that donald trump also support bitcoin, before he win in election, after election bitcoin price is increase day by day. Because we also see that support in cryptocurrency market and bitcoin is one of the major reason of bitcoin price increase. In this way gensler if resign, i believe that gradually bitcoin price will be increase. Because we believe that he could not want to improve in cryptocurrency market. So i think if he resigning in this time, i think that it will best achievement for crypto currency market. Because we must want to improve in cryptocurrency market.
