If I can suggest that Admin or moderators pin the news about voting on top so that everyone can see this easily.
We did something similar in another forum and it made significant difference with activity in voting topic.
I already voted btw but maybe I will make some changes in future.

You're right, I didn't think to pin this post, but it's fixed now. I hope that now this thread has more visibility and greater user participation as well.

Yeah that's actually a good move too. Also I think another nice thing to do is to actually make it more visible than it is. That's because this particular Forum award in my opinion is the first and biggest of its kind here even if the Forum actually used to have a community awards before now.

Therefore I suggest you actually pin it some way that irrespective of the board you are in you would still get to see it at the top of the forum since not everyone visits this board frequently.

It is interesting that even though the members are aware of the contest, they still refrain from voting.
Everyone wants new signature campaigns and to make money on the forum, but it is often difficult to contribute to the progress of the forum. If there are no interested parties in the free contest, which btw awards prizes, how can we expect any business or company to recognize the interest in promoting themselves here?

Try to be a little patient, I think the same as you, but we just have to be patient and wait for more people to participate.

+1 to you Freemind you've been really active on this forum and helpful too. Anyways I've been way busy these days so my schedule has been pretty tight. Nevertheless I will consider making a translation for the Nigerian board too for better visibility of course hopefully when my schedule gets less bulky.

Also. I believe this particular voting doesn't seem to be turning out as big as expected probably because it's the first.

Another suggestion to members who organized Voting is to extend it from 40 days to minimum 60 days or longer.

Thank you so much. Do the translation when you have time, don't worry. I think the important thing is that local boards (although some have little traffic) also see the things that happen in the forum on a "global scale", that way, with patience, more users will be encouraged to participate.

As dkbit98 says, increasing the voting time could be a success since it is the first contest and users are not used to it

I agree with dkbit98 on this. Even though the event is being advertised throughout the forum, there hasn't been a significant amount of participants to this date. Not only that, a lot of users are not even aware of it. So if the admin pins the news with something big and bold, something similar to the shown image above, I think it would help greatly with the visibility.
