Because of the financial capacity of the event and if not the positions are not enough or completed. There should be Miss Altcoinstalks, Local Hero, so that women in the forum can also be nominated and participated with full force. And there will and increase of local participation and any local account that has not been active for some setting time or season can't participate.

And after this there should be another events like pie, pizza and pumpkin carving contests so the forum will be busy more and more. And it will make people to be active.

I though there wouldn't be any girls/women at Altcoinstalk considering the fewer active members and activity here than other forums. But I guess, I was wrong. I noticed a few users with the "girls club" badge and they were decently active here. So I can't understand why the organizers didn't choose the miss Altcoinstalk category. Maybe because there was very few eligible candidates. Anyway, let's hope the ACA 2024 would be a success and that the next year we may get more category.

And regarding contests, there was one actually where many people participated....Coinomize.biz | Coinomize on the Moon | Art Contest | $2,000+ in prizes!

Even the girls are two they can participate and people would nominate them and they have their own board meaning they are many in the forum and what I consider why their category is not among now is s the finance. Because the Op .Ade it clear that it is 10 positions or categories will be awarded and they stated them clearly in the voting thread.

And I believed next year's forum award contest will be elaborated than this year. If I'm not mistaken this is the first forum award contest and it is nice. In everything there is a starting point.

This topic is stared by MrSpasybo one of the moderators, and now it passed 32 pages of nothingness!
My comparison was clear to understand, they have time to post in that topic and not to vote in Community Awards.

This proposal sounds very reasonable to me, but we first need to ask the people who organized and supported Altcoinstalks Community Awards.
I think admins and monderators should help with promoting voting during this time, without forcing anyone, but maybe with inserting this in few banners.

Voting banners don't have to be everywhere and they don't have to take a lot of space, he can just make them visible enough in next few weeks.

This is the first version of the Altcoinstalks community award, so I suggest we allow this go naturally without over flogging it. By next year, the interest will increase and we could give reference to today when it was started.
We shouldn't be discouraged by the number of participants. Community activities like this will make us understand the number of forum members and the number of those who genuinely want to participate in the forum. One day we could look back at today and chuckle.

By the mega banner, did you meant the banner that we see in the homepage?
Isn't that banner reserved for paid advertisement only? I highly doubt that the admin would approve it. Or maybe he would, who knows, given that this is the first time that an event like this is happening in the forum!

dkbit98, babo, I contacted the administrator to ask if it's possible to place a banner somewhere on the forum. But I don't know if it would be possible to use it on the main page, since, as you know, it's a paid banner.

I also think KingsDen is right, and even if we extend the deadline, I don't know how positive it would be to "force" things.

I guess others wouldn't be catchy (barely pay them attention)
And I believe the Mega banner is going to lead to some explicit cost.

Random thought : I think many are aware of this competition because of the publicity for sometime but are not attempting it due to one reason or the other.
Take the contest board, despite how hidden and the low publicity many still participate.

I think some don't meet the criteria (which I believe it's good since it helps reduce spams)
Some are just indifferent
Some don't know who to vote (limited time here)
While I believe few are not aware of it.

Not just that I think they should also consider reducing the karma requirements for voting take for example a profile like yours that's fairly active but currently you are still not up to the 50 karma requirement. The result of that based on the rules you are actually not eligible to vote.

Miss altcointalks I think that is one big position that should be considered for the coming community award and I believe the organizers are going to consider this and at some point make sure that everything covers all interests most especially here on Altcointalks where the girls club have a special badge to identify them, so why not if not it a good obsfpr consideration, as part of future event's.

I just noticed this small thing on top of the chat bar. The fonts are sooooo small that I almost didn't even noticed it was there, Lol. It's great that the admin decided to add this, but it would have been better if the message was a bit larger. I'm guessing many already missed it or would realize that was there after reading my comment!
