I choose alts and ignore bitcoins

in my personal opinion.bitcoin is profitable holding bcz most altcoin will follow bitcoin but definately some altcoin is doing fine in this bearish market.

It depends on the project of course, but I think the good alts will go up again, just a matter of time.

Me too, Bitcoin fees was so high so that I prefer to invest and trade with altcoins especially ripple and monero. They arr good coins that always give me profit when trading, I dont see bitcoin as a profitable coin for now

Surely when bitcoin returns to highs again, I think alt coins will go up more than 2x, they appear to rise and fall more than the bitcoin.

Yes i agree with you too. But invest in the good altcoins. If you got confuse just invest in the top rank altcoin like ETH, NEO, Cardano, Ontology.  Some of them can give you free dividend too when you have it.  and in the altcoins the transfer fee and the quick of processing is more good than Bitcoin.

I was thinking about that, but my whole capital is only a few hundred bucks, and I like to send them a lot.  And some at coins respond well to news and can grow doube over night.

I agree with you. As transaction fee and speed, BTC is expensive and slow when i compare with ETH, NEO, BCH and other coins. But altcoin's fate depends on BTC for value thats why you shouldnt ignore it

if I still choose bitcoin bro. because with bitcoin I can exchange with other crypto or spend with other crypto. and it's easy for me to get bitcoin. almost all cryiptocurrency markets accept bitcoin bro .

Holding altcoins is a good choice to get more profits that buying bitcoin. I agree with your way to have altcoins because of potentially gain profits faster. I also choose to have altcoins right now. I am holding ethereum and stellar.

I've been ignoring bitcoin for a while now, I had bad experience with fees, and in the beginning lost a chunk because I was sending with high fees accidentally.  I put the rest, about $30 into dogecoins, and it rose to over $200 and I sold it.  After that I fell in love with alts.  I've been so spoiled with alts, if I have to wait longer than five minutes for confirmation, I'm a little edgy, I'm glad locked up bitcoin transactions are a thing of the past for me now, since I don't send bitcoin anymore.  Do you choose alts over bitcoin purely out of fees/long transacton times?

in my opinion, Bitcoin has already lost its properties and people are not interested in them, nthorium was taken by ethereum, which is the most promising

Your actions are almost the same as mine. I used to have Bitcoin. But my heart is told to Ethereum, which is one of the best Altcoins currently owned. so I chose to sell my Bitcoin and then I bought Ethereum. Because to be honest, I am very interested in the market and also its popularity is getting better and better.
