Some people argue about the high minimum wage that it can lead to inflation, as the business may pass the cost of higher wages to consumers in form of high price. Additional higher minimum wage can help to reduce poverty and improve standard living. The main concern about minimum wage it causes job loss, as the employer's may not be able to afford to pay their worker's.Do you think these concerns will bring benefits of the minimum wage?
I no dey understand una for this naija shebi minimum wage now Dom turn to high wage again? How is minimum wage a high wage 70k as minimum wage and u say it is high who told u that, ok come to think of it do u know how much the senators, the commissioners and house of assembly members earn as salary what is there work do u know a government school teacher works harder than them yet we are here complaining that the minimum wage 70k is too much.
U even talk say some people go lose their jobs cause employers no go fit pay salary, let me remind u that this minimum wage is not for private workers oo na for government workers so how will people lose their job and why will the government not be able to pay a 70k salary.
But honestly speaking this minimum wage is not the solution to our problem, we need cost of goods and petrol to come down 70k can't even feed a family of 5 presently correct me if I'm wrong. Labour have played their part but it is still like chasing after shadow they are not hitting the nail to the wall in this country everything is just for fun. Temporal situations.
